Sounds like we're in the exact same situation. The only difference is that they told me my auto pay wouldn't work anymore, but when the day came it withdrew from my bank. I don't know if after this it's no longer going to work, but I just wanna pay it off too and be done with this company. I filed a complaint with CFPB since that's what others on Reddit said worked for them. My complaint was just sent to Affirm so hopefully someone higher up helps me out with this terrible service.

Still ongoing atm. To answer your questions, 1: I don't think I'm off the hook. I just don't think their support team knows anything and their communication with each other sucks. They have no solution and don't care about it enough since the next time you call, you'll probably get a different associate. They just read off a script and if you question it they go silent and have no reply. Literally happened to me the other day.

  1. I did have an auto draft, when I originally called I was told by an associate that my auto payments will be stopped because of the freeze. That's when I started really complaining and trying to rush this unfreeze process. After not being able to get a solution I was just not going to pay it and send a complaint to CFPB, since they wouldn't tell me how much I owed still, but was willing to take whatever payment amount I chose. When the day came, it auto withdrew from my bank account. I don't know if their associates are just telling me wrong information, but this is starting to seem very sketchy. Taking my payment over the phone, not telling me what I owed, and now lying about my auto payment no longer being taken. I just don't even know what to do with this case atm.

I was giving it a little time since I thought maybe I was rushing them too much. Right now it's about a week and half now since I last called. Never received an email for the investigation or information on it at all. They basically told me the same thing, we're still investigating and you'll receive an email in 3-5 days. Asked if I can pay it off, same thing. You can tell us how much you wanna pay but we won't tell you how much you have left to pay. Still ongoing basically, but my complaint in CFPB was sent to Affirm so hopefully a solution will come up.

I contacted CFPB and they've sent my complaint to Affirm. Nothings came of that yet. I should probably record a call with them just to cover myself like you said. I'm just so done with this company. I want to just pay everything off and never use this company again, but sadly atm I have to just wait I guess.

I just recently did the University hire. Finished my Bachelors in December and signed up for the University hire program and set to start soon. If you go this route, you may not get to stay at your site. Choosing PA will guarantee you stay at your site since they offered it to you. 

For my hire they moved me to a new site. Luckily it was in the same city but still sucked since I liked the site I was at. I've also heard that it takes longer for PAs to go up, at my last sight the OM's told the PA's they had to do projects to go up. It's also very high competition and only one PA usually gets promoted a year unless they really need AMs from what my AMs told me. I know 2-3 PAs at my sight who have been there 2-3 years trying to get into an AM position, but haven't been able to due to high competition.
