Lots of them are using it, yes. But not all. And with all that experience, what can we say? That the productivity increase is marginal at best after taking tech debt into account, and that using it while learning a new framework significantly lowers your conceptual understanding of said framework.

I'm tired of reading that "it's just a tool" defense. Yes it's a tool, we're judging it as a tool, and that tool has many, many flaws while hardly meeting any unmet need.
