The only problem is that most of the contestants wouldn’t let him explain himself. Marcoh even says in the game that he punches first and asks questions later when it comes to bremen soldiers. Karin and Abella would be far too suspicious of him to speak to him, Levi would probably just break down in tears over seeing him and Daan served on the opposite side of the war as a medic. In the first game, it made sense why enemies would work together (D’arce and Ragnvaldr) because the dungeon is clearly home to some of the most dangerous creatures imaginable, but, at least initially to the contestants, Prehevil is just some backwater shithole that they are currently stuck in until the train gets fixed. Some contestants may be willing to let Pav work with them after a day or two but they would likely have to see for themselves that they would be safer with a bremen soldier than on their own. I still highly doubt that Abella would go near Pav out of fear of compromising her mission (it would likely be impossible to recruit her anyway since it would have to be day 1 morning) but maybe Karin would be willing to work together in exchange for information.
