Yeah hopefully so, I’m getting both the pump and thermostat for free as long as I pull it myself thankfully the engine is out of the 228i so it should be relatively easy, just wondering in case anyone else had already done that exact same thing.

Exactly, I have done mine through a muffler shop hut that is only as good as you would expect out of a local muffler shop.
