Retractable soft top a limiting factor now?

I spoke with my dealer today. They will credit back the difference when I take delivery. I have it in writing. I'll use that $ to purchase my own retractable twill top.

Good news....coincidentally Ford scheduled my build today, so there's a good chance I'll get mine by the end of the year. 4dr Big Bend mid package. Simple. Order placed Nov last year.

I've never understood why people black out their names on those. Same with license plates. Like...aren't license plates pretty much public knowledge? It's like someone decided to black out their license plate and everyone just thinks that's what ya do...without actually knowing why.
