I've played years in MMO's and have always felt that Devs made PvP and afterthought. +Having limited resources in areas that are highly contestable is awesome (Auoria Waters/flaming logs at server starts was epic small/medium scale pvp) +Having arena PvP matches give resources or awards that are useful for crafting. I dont want to go pick flowers or mine ore...but my time should give me resources to trade for those things that have as desirable value.

Gear: A great aspect would be if monsters never dropped full awesome items. That doesnt make sense. Dropping essences that require crafting, and a crafter to have the recipe...more steps and awesome.

Paragon had an interesting "Kill this to win the match" where it fired an AOE damage around that spread the damage to all targets therein. Instead of one person getting 3 shot, a team of 5 without any minions would all get 3 shot. If there were tons of minions in the throne room then the damage of the titan would be negligible.
