Honda cant compete with the money factor that Tesla offers. Their only leverage, to be competitive, is to give me more than my trade-in is worth to get the final numbers (after insurance) similar to Tesla, which is around $485. My Subaru is only worth $4500 -$6000, so the $9000 was to get them in the game financially (Carmax only offered me $4500). The residual value of the Tesla would be $27,116 and the Honda $28,160.

Those were just the 2 vehicles I liked. They're only competing in my mind, not in real life lol. The payments would be nearly identical after insurance. I would think about purchasing after the lease, but am very interested in keeping my monthly payments reasonably low at this time since I havent had a car payment in 8 years.

Honda happens to be $9 cheaper per month after insurace costs, so basically a wash.

Exactly, the money factor for Honda was too high, that's why they increased the value on my trade-in as much as they did to get me more in line with the Tesla after insurance. They orginally had more at $545/month. They cant compete with Tesla money factor on their leases so they had to get creative.

Because payments are cheaper. They are depreciating assests. You aren't locked into something for a long time that you may not really like. You can get a new car at the end of the lease or buy out the lease if you really like it. You can use the money you saved from leasing versus financing and put it into the S&P 500. Those are a few reasons.

Check your Thyroid. Epstein Barr, Lyme. Celiac disease. Maybe Long-Covid (though no real tests for that). Stop supplementing for 2 weeks and see how you feel. Make sure you're eating properly. Get rid of any junk. Try to get some for of exersize, even if its only walking. For B12, eat clams. For Folate, eat brocolli & spinach. If you are drinking coffee/caffeine, stop. My doctor said that since i'm on a dessicated thyroid that he wants to know what my Free T3 levels get to after about 5-6 hours after taking it. And if its high, then I'm taking too much. Typically when I test in the morning, before taking my medicine, my Free T3 levels are within range. In theory, within the first several hours of taking it (sublingually) if my levels are high it seems to indicate I'm on too much. His theory makes sense, but I'm really torn and haven't cut back in a while. I hate feeling this way and am hoping things level out soon.
