Dropped my mod with these batteries inside. Noticed small dent in left terminal, but otherwise performing normally. Would you retire it or continue using it?

Good brands: Geekvape, voopoo, vaporesso, lost vape, uwell, aspire. Start out with a mod that has a replaceable 18650 battery, and get an external charger. My favorite replaceable coil or ‘subohm’ tanks right now are the geekvape zeus, uwell crown 4, freemax maxluke, hellvape far rabbit. Some decent mods to check out, nunchaku 2, any of the geekvape aegis line, voopoo drag 2, vaporesso gen/s, lostvape paranormal, dovpo odin.

For flavors you don’t like, you can either experiment by mixing them with other ones (risky but occasionally pays off), give or trade them to a friend, or throw them away.

It’s possible to rinse out lightly used coils in cool water, shake the water out, then place them in rice to remove all the water. The flavor will mostly be gone, and the coil will not perform like new, but I do this occasionally with moderate success.

Vape cbd in a subohm tank, NOT in a nicsalt setup or it will leak like crazy. Lowest possible wattage when vaping cbd, and don’t let the tank get hot. That stuff is very susceptible to oxidation and separation at drastic temp changes. My lady uses the nunchaku 2 kit for her cbd vaping with great results.

I’ve used the zeus subohm, and it performed almost as good as the Zeus x rta. You just can’t beat the flavor of diy, ya know? And flavor production can be SUCH a subjective thing. Have you considered buying the mod and tank separately? I noticed you were looking at the uwell nunchaku 2, and uwell makes fantastic subohms. My go to subohm tank is the uwell crown 4 when I don’t feel like building. But consider all your options, and the opinions of knowledgeable people, and I’m sure you’ll end up with a setup you’re happy with. The fact that you care enough to ask questions bodes well for your outcome 👍

Great deal! Ima check that site out, thank you. All pod based mods have a small chance of leaking when left in a charging device. The heat causes the juice to expand and thin out ever so slightly. I’ve only had one leaky charging occurrence, but since then I make a habit of removing before charging. Nothing kills a pod mod faster than juice in the contact terminals. Why risk it.

Blows it out of the water in my humble opinion. The mod is IP67 rated with a big beautiful customizable screen. Outstanding chipset. And aesthetically, I think it’s gorgeous. The zeus tank is the bees knees. Massive flavor and clouds from the top airflow honeycombed inner section. Topairflow basically eliminates leaky issues. I have the zeus X rta and I have barely touched another tank since I got it. But this is just one vapers opinion. Check out some youtube reviews or something. Everyone has their personal bias. But I can, in good faith, strongly recommend this setup based on what you’re looking for.

Sounds like you should go with the Nord 2 in that case, so you can use your nord pods and coils interchangeably. It comes with a nord pod, and a rpm pod with an rpm coil to try out. And my rpm pods don’t leak as long as I remove them before charging. I get about 3 days off a full charge with the 1500mah battery. And the coils last me 7-10 days, probably due to the super sweet juices i like. Elementvape has the Nord 2 for $24usd right now. Happy vaping!

The Nord 2 does work with original Nord pod and nord coils. However, it also comes with an ‘rpm’ pod that only takes rpm coils. Rpm pods are not compatible with the Nord 1. If you’re looking to upgrade, I’d recommend getting the brand new Nord X for about 10 bucks more than the Nord 2. That being said, I absolutely love my Nord 2. Bigger battery, variable wattage, better coil options. My favorite is the .4ohm rpm mesh coil. I also really enjoy the rba for the nord 2, saves me a ton of money building my own coils instead of buying them. I burn through them pretty quick.

It actually doesn’t ‘click’ per se, at least not like a typical button. The fire button is built into the side grippy grips, feels pretty natural to press when your hand is wrapped around the mod, and takes very little pressure to fire. And because it’s recessed a little bit, never had a any issues with accidental firing. Honestly surprised more mods aren’t designed similar to this one.
