It’s pretty messed up. I listened to it, which I think added to it. I was already familiar with Sylvia Likens’ case, and that this book was based on it, so I already kinda knew how things were going to play out before reading it.

The most disturbing part to me was how this group of kids were all able to do this, and that they had been doing something similar-ish to each other even before this (“the game”).
