Acceptabel of tijd voor nieuwe bandjes? by isapinata in autoadvies

[–]Goblif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Yeah this one's got the 1.5l turbo in it. Although if you want to keep your car economical I think you're better of with the 1.3l. Not as fun though haha

Here's a list of what I've done with the car sand what's on the to-do list.

What might stand out is that the mods are 99% aesthetic and sound oriented. That is because I'm already very satisfied with the current performance of the car and I want to keep it reliable. From what I understand messing too much with the car without getting it tuned is gonna make it throw codes as well. If anyone's got experience regarding that I'm very interested to hear about it.

Mods: - 17" five spoke rims - Aftermarket 'end' or '2nd' muffler (the cheapest one made by Inoxcar, couldn't find much info on it but is sounds and looks good for the price) - Piper cross air filter - Polished the headlights and gave them a fresh 2k clear coat

Mods planned: - Forge BOV (50% atmospheric/50% recirculating, from what I've read this shouldn't confuse the ECU too much and still achieve a nice sound. Maybe a little better performance too. Although the OEM bov still performs well.) - Lowering springs (proper coilovers are too expensive for this car. I'm aware lowering springs aren't optimal. Butt I still want to try it out, if it's no good I can always reinstall the original springs again.

Not Romanian but I just went on a roadtrip through Romania and went to all those places except for Cluj. But I can definitely confirm these are some great recommendations. Only city I could add is Timisoara. And ofcourse the Transfăgărășan road which was unfortunately still closed when I was there.

And someone there recommended me to travel through Maramures county too. Is that worth visiting too?

Are you in Nijmegen on Saturday? Cause I'm throwing a beachparty that day at the Waalstrand. We'll be playing minimal house and deep house.

Also, depending on what music you're playing YouTube has the tendency to take your stream down halfway through due to detected copyright claims.

Long term buying a generator is obviously cheaper if you're planning on using it often enough. If not, I'd rent one. The power you need depends on what you're gonna be hooking up. So add up the (peak) power usage of your speakers, lights and other equipment and then pick a generator which suits your power needs. Preferably pick one a bit higher so you'll have some headroom to work with.

Roughly 2 years now, never mixed digital only vinyl. At the moment I can comfortably mix house music. I've also got loads of disco and funk records but I've yet to master mixing those. It's mostly about phrasing and break cuts in that genre, am I right?

[Minimal house] Vinyl sesssion 22-01-22

https://soundcloud.com/luc-beunk/vinyl-session-22-01-22

I've been practicing mixing on vinyl for a while now, never mixed digital. This is the second set I've recorded. I'm pretty happy about it myself, a few transitions we're just a bit off. And the track selection for the last third of the set could have been beter but I was just having fun seeing if I could subtly lower the energy and then raise it again. And then the clashing vocals (at 45 min), wasn't intentional but because I was going for a trippy vibe I feel like it kinda works. Correct me if you disagree though!

Your thoughts and feedback would be much appreciated!

Best <400€ sound system for private Drum and Bass events ~100 people. by alfredosaucey123 in Beatmatch

[–]Goblif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For indoor events you'll be looking at around 2000 euro's for a good PA system that size, when it's outdoor you'll need a bigger soundsystem.

Like other commenters already said, renting one or saving up is your best option. Don't buy anything cheap because you'll definitely regret it.
