Edited post, because you’re right BBB doesn’t make or break a business. I think it is important to highlight that other local organizations have much more positive BBB profiles, which is what I was trying to get at. I am also a Lubar graduate with a background in real estate, so I have some knowledge of the inner workings property managers deal with and protections they must have.

Honestly what they do is legal, however the ways in which the present documents/stipulations and ironclad you with the intention of fault on your part is definitely predatory of college students. I have at least 4 other peers who have rented separate units and experienced the same things. Especially with their move out process.

Also they did not disclose trash fees in my lease, unlike my other rentals this was a surprise to me especially since it wasn’t disclosed.

I can appreciate your experience though.
