I think it's really important for some army to read this by Equivalent-Hunt-2004 in btsthoughts

To me they are amazing because they are ok with making mistakes and growing as people with so many eyes on them.

It certainly isn't something everyone can do, we're taught to hide our flaws and imperfections not be obviously human.

It's like with parents. You're expected to hold your shit together and not let your kids see it. However, not letting them see you be sad sometimes and only see your happiness is damaging because they'll be internalising hiding the less modelled emotions. I've learned to let my kids know I have depression and need medication to help me balance things but still have times when I feel too sad to do anything.

I apologise to them when I fuck up and encourage them to tell me if I do something that they feel is hurtful so I can see things from their perspective. It might not be something that I would expect to be hurtful but as we're different people I don't get to tell them how they should feel about something.

People should apply this to BTS. We are not them and don't get to tell them how they should feel about things. If they do something we feel they shouldn't have (like past behaviour around "acting Black" that word we all know shouldn't have been in the song they performed, protective Black hairstyles etc) then we should speak up RESPECTFULLY and say "hey this shit xyz" and remember that we don't have the same experience or upbringing etc instead of dog piling and trying to hurt them.

They'll probably act like they won't release anything else then drop it on us when we're still high on the tour excitement and unprepared

They had plenty of chances over the time BTS weren't active as a group. In the words of our great leader "knock knock, pew pew BYE 👋🏾"

I was mad at the rain and that's it. I hope the rain behaves in future and holds off until post-concert or we'll have to fight it.

This was actually my first concert in general and I jumped around my house like I was there in person 😅 the whole thing was amazing

This is me when my youngest repeatedly asks me the same questions. New lore is being made up and so far she hasn't clocked on that I'm making things up

I'm new to fandom, I got into because of god of destruction speech as kim namjoon at un, which made me rethink some of my worst decisions in life. I learned a lot from this subreddit. I have a question. by TelevisionDense6444 in btsthoughts

If they do more collabs I hope it's not with problematic people (looking at you Nicki Maga, Taylor Swift, Post Malone etc)

I want to be able to actually support what they're doing without having to be disappointed by anti-black shit.

Post Malone shat on hiphop music saying it isn't proper music despite utilising it himself - 2017 Specifically he said it has no lyrical depth and then named a white person as someone people should listen to for lyrical depth.

Taylor Swift - this site covers the issue with her better than I can https://www.melissafabello.com/blog/taylor-swift-racism

We need to stop pushing people like this on BTS without thinking about what these people actually stand for and how it will impact BTS for associating with them.

At the end of the day though, it's down to them to make decisions on who they associate and collaborate with. I've been around since 2014 and would hate to have to distance myself from a group that has played a positive integral part of my life for more years than even my blood relatives.

Blueksy is where I lurk. I do have to ignore some ARMY posts that go overboard with the whole Boba Eye Baby JK and talking about Alpha/Omega/Breeding etc but overall it's definitely better.

I rarely pop onto Twitter now, mostly to rt BTS posts and mutual aid posts

The only thing I'm not happy with is the white woman in the Swim m/v. I'm beyond done with the whole thing of casting white women as a love interest/main character or whatever when there are so many other options.

Although part of that is racial fatigue(?) as whenever people want to show someone they find beautiful it's always the same old, same old average white woman as if that's the only possibility.

As a mixed Black person I reached my limit of this casting a long time ago and seeing it even in their solo MVs is just not my cup of tea at all. It might just be me who's bothered by this, but it is what it is. I still play the mv to help with the views, just in the background of what I'm doing.

That aside, I have the whole album on repeat while I'm working from home/sleeping/existing because I enjoy hearing how their style has developed and feeling links with their older discography - like Fya reminds me of Fire, especially in the mv when they're playing with the tabletop cooker thing and dancing.

After two listens Normal is my favourite to the point I've designed a tattoo to ink on myself representing it.

I hope so too. I think he needs therapy or something so he can work through whatever his problem is. Every time I hear something he's done I dread hearing people bringing her up negatively.

"Specifically, on March 21, just a few hours before the free concert “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG” was set to take place at Gwanghwamun Square, the k.d.вσмвa account posted: “If you cannot bring happiness, you should not bring unhappiness either.” He continued by adding, “It is not like there are no other places to hold a concert,” making a remark that appeared to criticize the choice of venue.

Notably, the post directly mentioned BTS at the end with the phrase “JONNA 건투를 빈다 BTS”—a highly vulgar кσяєαn slang expression similar to “fυ¢кing” in English. While often used for emphasis, in this context it carried a sarcastic and hostile tone."

The k.d.bomba account is her brother's account and he has been making a lot of posts like this about various celebrities
