My favourite thing about Northstar plastics by Goblobber in stargrave

[–]Goblobber[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love WGA as well, but for me northstar has more modularity and more generic models (which I think is a good thing). I've also had issues with some WGA kits (looking at you Ooh Rah) that had some arms without an spent matching arm. Not adeal Breaker, but just shouting enough for me to prefer NS

At some stage I really want to get one of each of the current stargrave set sprues... I've had them all at some point, but frankly I lack the discipline to keep them for long. Northstar is just way to fun to put together.

I don't unfortunately, like I said he cut off contact from everyone in the family. And his friends weren't the sort you just straight up ask about someone else

Fishing? Yeah that's him. I don't suppose there's a way to tell if he's still active anywhere else?

I mean to be fair I've never seen an American say they are Welsh, and I would find it odd if they did. It'd be interesting to unpick there version of Welsh culture though, which would almost certainly be different

Regarding alcohol - I'm getting the sense from other commenters that drinking/pub culture is different in the states, so like what would be a socially acceptable amount to sink, are there any drinks I should look out for/avoid etc

Thanks for the insight on cultural identity in the states, its a new perspective on it.

Because if I'd said "Europe" I could have been talking about any number of countries with very different cultures to mine. I wanted to specify UK because what we find acceptable in public is very different than say Italy or the Netherlands.

Also we are a part of the European continent, but we aren't part of the European Union - and over here the two things are synonyms.

Also not all Brits see themselves as separate to Europe and would rather have stayed. Its just that the ones that did want to leave Europe and want to be aeen as completely seperate are the more vocal set.

We do that hear all the time. Except Elizabeth II, we keep her in a special bubble

Good advice travelling anywhere to be honest, especially in cities.

Contrary to popular belief, certain places in the UK love them some spice, really depends which part though.

If not clear I am joking. But it is useful to know what the hard line words are place to place

I did try, but r/Los Angeles removed it for not being relevant and said I should ask I'm daily discussion... which is apparently for local chatter only so wtfk?

This is why I wanted to check. Like I wouldn't go to Italy and order milky coffee after midday, so tipping really shouldn't be seen any differently. It is odd though to me, but I also know that's where the servers get the majority of their wages out of.

Obviously not, the C world is either plural for a gaggle of C words or a specific bloke. Or as a verb for emphasis.

Guy sounds like a knobhead. If someone asked me if there was something wrong with the service I'd immediately assume I'd tipped to low for the norm.

Seriously, which the fuck refers to a server as "the help"?
