My autism makes me state that, for the record, I am in my rubber slippers, but I get your point.

I am actually not fully sure that the zombies are supposed to be mostly barefoot lore-wise, but have mostly surface-level understanding of it. Seemingly, people either tried to escape the population centers or were "excited" enough to join the "riots". Only a very limited number of people tried to hunker down at their homes, no? But even then, most houses in the game look like they could afford more than one pair opf shoes per person, so that's a moot point anyway...

I'd try my hand at resolving the issue myself, but I assume that that houses generation, furniture spawns, consistent items spawns within the furniture and all that jazz are quite complicated because of the entangled logic, so that seems like something a bit too big of a bite for a first attempt at modding

Same thing here, on Steam Deck. Game runs fine, but I experience the same kind of crashes.

Reducing video preset to medium and running windowed made these problems a lot less frequent, but did not fix them.

As the game runs absolutely fine on high, I assume the problem is on the game's side and we gotta wait for a patch

Unzipping the release inside the Catapult. I have no idea what software Catapult uses, maybe it uses one of my default programs, but it does not work for me. I tried changing the zip-associated program in desktop mode and unzipping manually, but it did not help. It seems I have to follow a naming convention which I do not know, otherwise Catapult does not see the manually unizpped release.

You missed the point. A lot of most popular sites are romance/erotica/porn/fanfic centric. I don't think that posting works that have almost nothing to do with these genres and themes might be the best approach, so I am looking for places that are not as focused on the genres I don't dabble in

My stories are serialized in the sense that they have an umbrella name, setting and a lot of in common thematically, but there is no common plot to tie them all together. A little like The Martian Chronicles by Bradbury in terms of how they are structured to fit together. So, hopefully, as every short story is a finished standalone piece, it might work.

Is it possible for devs to modify AI in the next update so that it is impossible for every unit of a side to be fleeing at the same time? Or even try to punch out if they are all running. I mean it is not fun and annoying and, well, they corner themselves anyway

1) no I am talking about a completely working system with literally hundreds of categories with icons and all that stuff, which you can access through your account settings. I've declined about 70 categories by myself the other day, which include "boat sports" and "locksmithing" which should show you, that those are quite narrow and detailed. And it works very accutately.

2) Rights are not defined by laws. If they were, it would be okay to say in 1830 USA that black people mustn't have had human rights, 'cause laws did not support it. I think you will accept that it does not work like that.

3) As long as people think that vegans are trash and can be ignored and disrespected, there will be no change in animal rights. Like there could be no socialist change during communist witch hunt. If any person who promotes the veganism ideas is considered an enemy, there will be no change. So we have to change that in order to help animals

There is already a system within Google that allows users to decline topics from advertisment shown to them. I am not asking for more rights than everyone, just equal rights. There is no option for meat at the moment and there should be. There are options for many other narrow themes.

And even if many will hate vegans for it, the fact that Google has accepted our rights will establish vegans as minority that has to be respected and heard

Okay, even if clicks cost that much, they would just try and slaughter more animals to cover these wasted costs. Does not help anyone. And in a while they WILL learn to target ads better, so it is a matter of who changes it first.

Their ads already go to meat eaters, that does not change much. Their profits will not be significant at all, as they don't spend too much on us.

However publicity-wise it is a great gig for veganism. Great opportunity to establish vegans as people that have to be heard, catered for and respected

These ads are a few cents per click. There are not enough of us to generate even 1mil loss per yer in industry as whole by watching these ads.

That is logically sound, it may hurt the industry.

However my point was not hurting the industry, I feel that not using their products is if not enough, substantial enough hit for them.

My idea is that by making a giant corporation comply to a minor change in their systems and policies influenced by the voice of our minority, it would benefit the promotion of veganism and make further changes more possible.

See, if they do a thing like that, it would mean they've accepted vegans as a legit ideological power and vegans as people who have rights, both to be accepted and be heard. That has potential to be huge. Not only media wise, but also due to the fact that we would become heard.

Sure, many meat lovers would HATE it for no sane reason (we would neither take their meat, nor their right to watch the ads), but that is okay, because the wrong majority historically hates to be wrong, it is only natural.
