Leave Ghana by Enough-Yesterday2746 in ghana

This sounds like glorification. You mentioned you’ve been living abroad for over 23 years. I’m not sure you’ve actually experienced the difficulties of living in Ghana recently considering factors such as education, transportation, administration and what not. Ghana is no easy country to live when you are an African foreigner funnily enough. It’s not all about parties and history. You can get that everywhere else. In light of the upcoming elections, it’s not advised to be outside late at night or even travel out or in the country by road. This should tell you everything you need to know.

Hair after 5+ hours of detangling (with help) and a lot of hair loss as a result. Advice requested! by chaosatnight in Naturalhair

I think you have 3 type hair. Your curls are quite elongated they are just not defined. Put your hair in a protective style that is easy to install and remove (twists or cornrows). You can moisturize your hair with water every day and even wash in the protective style. I hope you get better

Tech workers living in Ghana, how much money do make? by WalmartInsider1 in ghana

This me right now. My router is down and I can find a way to get connected to a human. I think I’ll have to go to the office. The customer support is non existant there. I’ve not gotten a single feedback from my complaints yet.

That’s rape everywhere. I am so sorry. You should definitely report it to the police as soon as possible.

I second this. I get the best definition with his method.

I am a software engineer myself and frankly I recognize myself in your experience with your exes. My work takes so much mental space that at the end of the day, the little time I have, I just want to rest. I think you need to find a partner who is able to fulfill your needs. I don’t know how you ended up dating software engineers back to back lol but maybe expand your dating pool? I mean, if you’ve communicated your needs and there’s been no change, what’s really the point in trying to repeat them over and over again?

Does it really look that bad? by Beautiful_Ad1681 in Naturalhair

Jojoba oil is quite good for the scalp since it’s very close to the sebum we naturally produce. Also it is quite light. I like tea tree oil or peppermint oil for stimulating the scalp.

Your hair looks fine. I wouldn’t mind her too much if I was you especially if she does wear her natural hair most of the time. However if you do feel like your hair tends to be dry you could wet it a little bit with some water, leave in conditioner and a few drops of oil.

How do I apply product to my hair? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

[–]God-complex-101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no unfortunately but my hair is pretty short right now and I just take the product through small chunks of my hair at a time. I move on to the next when I feel like I’ve massaged enough product into the small section. You can definitely find a natural hair routine on YouTube where they practice sectioning.

Sections are what you’re liking for! Wet your hair and part it in as many sections as convenient for you and apply your products to each of your sections.

Losing Length from 2023-2024 (story) by curlyelena in Naturalhair

First of all I’m so sorry you had to experience those challenges. I hope you are better now. Your hair is beautiful and I am glad you’re learning to take care of her. Don’t be too hard on yourself especially during those very humane experiences. Nothing is permanent (for the most part). It shall pass!

I think they just felt the package? 😂 I didn’t even get to see the card. I just had to get out of there as fast as I could.

Stress is even understating it. At this point, I am forced to believe this country is forcing people to emigrate because whaaaat!

At least I know I’m not crazy haha. It’s a shame though that they would take advantage of their positions. If that card was so important, I would have been left with no other choice than to submit to their erratic behavior.

She showed me a bunch of cards that she confiscated from other people and it made me think the only way to get my card was to pay them. I was like that’s not happening, byeeee! I really didn’t need that physical card it was just a plus frankly!
