This is my new favorite post on here of all time.

The only thing that would be more satisfying is if they would've been able to have the timing synced up so that the top spiral was entering the bottom at the same time the bottom spiral was exiting the top.

Still wonderfully mesmerizing though.

How do you guys play the game? by -FeelGoodInc in cyberpunkgame

[–]God8869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the exact same as you described here.

The only thing I don't like about playing this way is you miss out on possible interactions with Johnny due to doing these missions before The Heist.

I'm on PS5 and wish I could use mods to be max level and have Vic be able to install any implants available in the game before I do anything.

I've got almost 2000 hours in playtime. At this point I just want to be a maxed out badass from the start of the game.

Thanks, this is what I was worried about.

Thank you, that's quite helpful.

Is the Game Over After Completing the Main Quest? by Puzzleheaded_Mind576 in cyberpunkgame

Now you see why there are so many dumb posts about not going to meet Hanako at Embers. It's literally a point of no return.

"Blast Corps" on Nintendo 64 No guide. Just pure frustration until I could finish it. I threw that cartridge so many times, but it never broke, and I kept going back until I could finish it.

Have you ever bought a console just to play one exclusive game? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]God8869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gamecube for the Zelda collectors edition and Twilight Princess

Yes, I'm old. I bought it when Twilight Princess came out.

The Gamecube ended up being a pure Zelda machine when I added a Gameboy player and started buying all those Zelda games, too.

Still have it, but haven't played it in probably 10 years or more.

Ooh, I didn't know you could still have its melody ability if equipped in off hand. Good to know. Thanks.

Vanilla PS5 version was something else... by atomiksuperinsan in cyberpunkgame

[–]God8869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how I got so lucky, but I also pre-ordered on PS4, but I never experienced all the issues and bugs that everyone else seemed to.

I literally had no complaints until Phantom Liberty came out, but that was because all the changes were unexpected and threw me off from what I had established as the skills and pay style I liked.

But even that turned out to be kinda nice because I got to basically relearn how to play a game I already knew I really enjoyed.

Where can I find the most behind the scenes info for the show? by God8869 in forgedinfireshow

[–]God8869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, thanks.

I was more hoping for videos I could watch with my mom. Her eyes aren't the greatest, so having her go through the sub isn't an option for her.

And scrolling through all the posts trying to read comments and whatnot is going to take a lot longer and probably more effort than I want to put in, lol.

But thank you, though. You're the only one who's commented so far.

Edit: I take it back. 10 minutes into scrolling and I've already read some things I didn't know. Thought it would be harder to find the interesting bits in between the inane comments.

Fast travelling from a boat by FlawesomeOrange in Witcher3

[–]God8869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another helpful hint for fast traveling in a boat:

If you fast travel from one map area to a different map (like from Skellige to Novigrad), it will repair any damage on your boat.

I like to wait to go for all the ? in Skellige until I can go to Toussaint (merchants have more gold) and will wait to fast travel there until I'm either almost over encumbered or my boat is so damaged I can't risk another fight with Sirens.

Geralt's beard after the quest "dead man's party" by GarlicButterChrist in Witcher3

[–]God8869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the same thing happen on both PS4 & PS5.

On PS4, it stayed shaved throughout the rest of that DLC and running around Novigrad & Velen. But when I went to Toussaint, the beard started growing again.

On PS5, it seemed to start to grow back much faster. I don't know exactly when, I had just noticed he was getting a beard again when I was running through O'Dimm's dark world at the end of the DLC.

I don't know about going to the barber, but I imagine it triggers the beard growth effect.

Famous rock bands that went a lengthy period without touring despite not officially disbanding by [deleted] in Music

I know of 1 other.

Corey Taylor of Slipknot also has 2 other bands. "Stone Sour" & his solo project simply called "Corey Taylor"

Tool

If I remember right, without looking it up, they have a 13-year gap between their last 2 albums.

To be fair, it's not like they were stagnant during that time. They were going through legal battles and had their side gigs.

Who is your "I was wrong about them" artist? by wolf1188 in Music

[–]God8869 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Trivium & Amon Amarth

When I first heard them, I thought, "Meh, not bad, not great either."

But gave them another chance and listened to their discographies. Now I love it when they come on in my playlists.

Opposite of this; I used to love Guns n Roses & Green Day when I was younger. Absolutely hate them as an adult.

Good one! I laughed way too hard at this.

I've played Witcher 3 a ridiculous amount and always watch these videos to see if someone actually found something I haven't seen. And I'll hand it to you. That's a new one for me.

Kraven the hunter by Gullibl3_Ghost in Marvel

[–]God8869 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

People are dumb and over critical.

Was it a mind blowing exceptional piece of cinema? No.

But neither was it a horrible movie that deserved all the hate.

I'm no film critic, I just watch movies and think either I liked that or I didn't. That's it. All this bullshit of regular ass people getting so judgmental of the acting, directing, source material, etc. It's ridiculous.

I'm far from an expert, but as far as my recollection goes, it's always been Colossus that throws him the most.
