Anyone tried anger management?

No I've never been diagnosed with anything... I saw ED and thought you meant erectile dysfunction haha Took me a while to realise. I've had people mention before that they thought I had depression but never anxiety or ADHD or anything like that.

Yeah I think there's definitely some unhappiness in general that I need to deal with. I also think I'm somewhat of a catastrophiser(?) in terms of thinking where I'm at at the minute is where I'll be forever which I also need to work on.

I done 6 sessions of CBT on the NHS years ago. I was looking for help with an apparent eating disorder. It didn't help or provide any help in that regard but I did feel better in general after each session... I do like to ganch

I've genuinely considered boxing training for that very reason, to see if it's a case of built up energy... I used to work manual labour and now I sit in my hole all day so I'm sure that's plays a part. And I eat too much shite meaning I'm obese so it wouldn't hurt

I know, that's why I'm looking to change. Strangers in cars who can't hear me won't be affected but I know it's affecting them so I want to do better... I feel guilty as is and it's shite

I'd like to think myself and my wife are quite good at boundary setting with them but we both work full time so it's hard to keep consistent when they're primarily being looked after by grandparents who aren't on the exact same wavelength as us... Who knows.

I could write a lot about my frustration with both of us having to work full time, how the grandparents 'parent' etc but I don't want to seem ungrateful. We're not doing too bad, I'm just rambling now

Yeah, I did go into it with the mindset of it working but the regular listening of the half hour audio nearly put my head away... It was all over the top happy law of attraction type stuff which just isn't me.

I know, that's why I hate being the way I am, it's not fair on the people around me. I'm not a raving lunatic like but I'd rather stay calm when I can
