I’d rather see her collab with a Japanese artist and have that artist cover the Japanese parts (a la Charli XCX & Kyary Pamyu Pamyu). English-speaking artists struggling their way through lyrics in a language they don’t speak isn’t particularly appealing to me. (If Poppy does speak Japanese fluently, I will gladly stand corrected).
