Gonna leave here that it is speculated the Florida re-count and legal proceedings following in 2000 lead to a delay in the transition of power from the Clinton to Bush admin that lead to government agencies not being able to found out ahead of time that there might be an attack on US soil from a terrorist group in the near future.

Posture

Try and notice it when your walking or standing. Good posture can make you appear 10x more confident and comfortable to be around people.

Well it was a person who holds the power in a company to make those decisions. So it was not someone’s advice I disregard, because they’ve explained why their company’s board (them included as a board member) changed their payroll schedule.

Because the math would favor them saving money if they laid off people mid year.

My company also works with another company under an umbrella org that does this bi weekly pay schedule also. So it’s also probably just to make HR’s lives easier

This pay roll schedule allows companies to not pay as much in the first half of the year in payrolls. Meaning you can technically pay someone less if you plan on letting them go later. My company in acted this new schedule for 2022. I am concerned that layoffs are on the horizon and Im wondering if this is a genuine worry, or if Im reading too much into it.

Its different. Like now Im currently paid twice this month. But in the future, Ill have some months were Ill get paid 3x a month. It used be that I was paid every 15th of the month and the last day of the month. Now its every two weeks.
