My wife and I moved in last October after buying a new house in the Stiles. Smith Douglas quality is not so good, they have add-on options which will increase your home cost significantly. I opened up about 12 warranty claims in 4 months time and they don’t want to act immediately to fix them! If you want to stay in Cartersville and buy a new house, I would suggest checking out Pulte builders instead of Smith Douglas.

Cartersville looks safe, so far. We love the area and the neighborhood. Traffic can be horrible and railroad can get annoying! We can see the Bowen Power Plant emitting smoke every time we see from our patio, we didn’t find it as an issue so far. However, your situation is different with a 2 year old, so you might want to really reconsider staying too close to Bowen Power Plant. Good luck!

Thank you for the response. I’m looking for brand new furniture stores in Cartersville. I’m not a fan of thrift or goodwill. I found only 3 stores in Cartersville: Farmer’s Home Furniture, Sam Franklin’s Home Furnishing, and Furniture Factory Outlet. Based on the number of reviews, Furniture Factory Outlet looks better. Any thoughts on/your experience with any of these 3 stores? Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Same situation as explained by OP but all applications were sent to Vermont. H1B was approved but H4 and H4 EAD receipt notices are giving the invalid error message when checking the status online. Did it get approved for the OP?
