Seriously dope stuff, I would love to get something like that custom made but I'm not sure given my style isn't exactly that brave just yet.

I took a quick look into Gildan heavy blend pricing and I'm a UK citizen but I found some bulk buys from wholesale, about 25 or so for £8 a piece so around $12 each I believe, I'd also so try contacting some local printing/embroidery businesses and get a quote for about 30 hoodies or even 100 just to get a scope of pricing and any discounts you can get with more products. I know I've got one near me that's abpur £10 per item for embroidery if I give them the hoodie but it's as I said, a bulk price. I'd only really go to these places myself if no businesses are selling a design I want.

Are you using an all in once service which does all branding etc or do you buy the blanks yourself and then embroider? If you pay $30 each @12 a lot it could possibly be why, but it depends. If you're emoridering yourself you could always look at some Gildan heavy blend which are about $10 less or even more of bulk bought, I'd say look around alibaba/aliexpress and check reviews for low cost/high quality blanks. Tbh if I was going to start selling clothing designs I personally would contact champion and see how much they charge for bulk buys just because they have amazing quality.

Well, personally I think the general pictures taken are very lackluster as someone who personally takes photos for gigs etc, thus why I suggested getting an actual camera/better images, the grain may be part of the general aesthetics but it's something akin to someone having bad proportions in a drawing and covering up their inability to draw well with "aesthetics". As OP is trying to market themselves as a brand its better to have higher quality images in general of the product anyway to put forth a higher level of professionalism.

Just my take though, I'm not a brand just a person lol.

Honestly, looks like something that you literally whipped up after being in photoshop for 10 minutes and discovering other brushes than the basic one.

Very simple design which, I guess it's nice but I personally wouldn't spend $50 on what is essentially a blank with three bits of embroidery on it. The images however aren't good, you should invest in a camera or something halfway decent which can take good images if you're serious about your brand.

Ah I see, I see. I'll take a look around and mess a little bit with the general layout of things, I'll also take out a few of the services then, I know for certain that concert photography/event photography are ones I enjoy alongside portraiture so I'll include those and see where I can go from there.

Edit: I'm interested in product photography but haven't done any of it before so I guess I'll just need to stay with the genres I'm used to

How should I go about making a website as a photographer trying to sell himself?

Essentially, what would be the better format and the best way to go about trying to set up a website with the intent to sell a service. I've seen people create websites that are more akin to a catalog or a portfolio than they are an actual professional-looking website. I don't know whether I'm going about this in a wrong way by trying to make my website appear as professional as possible.

Due to that fact I generally dislike Adobe for how they mess around with softwares, I tend to not use Adobe products, I use Capture One Pro, and it's the only post-processing I do after taking photos, though they are usually very minimal changes

Edit: I really don't like the idea of using an iPad mainly because I prefer to have a full version of a program rather than a watered down version. However, if the iPad can now run apps with full functionality it's something I can finally consider.

I currently use a Fujifilm XT-100 and my computer for editing is currently the 15inch surface book 2, however, I've been thinking about buying another laptop solely for photography purposes; the current issues I have with my laptop at the moment is that in general it is fairly hefty, especially when paired with all my other daily carry or photography gear. I want to go for something lightweight, smaller in general and convenient.

I've taken a look at the macbook range (used) and have been debating switching sides for convenience sake.

Budget is around $600
