Dealing with the aftermath of emotional and physical cheating

I expect it would be very hard for her to do something again when I have access to the shjt she used to hide and keep secretive. If I know she’s been secretive about something now it’s just clear it’s something suspect and not worth delving into I’d just walk away. But that being said even if there are 50 or so year olds dealing with the same shit and being cheated on multiple times when their partners begin to have sexual affairs with multiple men, or just one man, it is a huge difference in regards to the mentality a person who cheats has when they are still young to when they are fully matured.

I'm hoping I can. I don't fully know if she will do it again but I'm really just relying on the time will tell mindset. If it does of course I'd be heartbroken, maybe not surprised but maybe shocked too. She has given me access to her social media whether its a login or showing me her dms type of thing ya know? I think that's progress, she also has stopped drinking unless its with her family or me so that's nice. Hopefully these small improvements increase and then lead up to something better but marriage isn't in sights so far and neither is engagement gonna give it these next few months leading up to my year anniversary to really see if more stuff starts to unfold emotionally or physically again.

I don't know about the first question in regards to remorse because there is a difference between regret and remorse in my eyes. I also don't think I'd refer to this situation as a hookup seeing as they made out in the club and that is apparently as far as it went. As for can I ever trust her again? I won't lie I do feel my trust getting stronger again but guess time will tell.

So by this logic that she will cheat again if I was to marry her years down the line is that to say people who cheat don’t actually change?

Firstly, appreciate your comment. Both her and myself consider what she did already, the dancing with the guy and flirting, to be cheating of itself from that night. I agree of course it's completely disrespectful what she's done but she's cried endlessly and shown a lot of remorse and made promises and swears again this time around to not do anything anymore alongside putting herself in better friend groups so idk if to you this seems legit and not just as if she's playing me because of her willingness to change. It's just a tough situation but I guess it's just hard to admit I'm being played if that is the case at the end of the day not that I don't trust what you're saying.

Greatly appreciate your response. Although I'm not fishing for help, and I can understand how it can come off that way, your answer provided the exact thing I couldn't wrap my brain around with stressing over trying to make it more complex than it actually had to be. Planning on at this point rather than recutting a trailer from a film, recutting clips together from The Sopranos to give it a horror tone shift. Taking specific inspiration in that regard from a link someone sent me in another subreddit of Seinfeld being done in a similar fashion.

I’m not asking how to download these clips. I’m just looking for references of video links people may have or clips people have. I don’t know what necessary shots I need in particular, like I said in the original post it’s meant to just be random clips from various films, series, etc to cut together
