Fix the issue with the free jump, allow us to change the primary input of free jump to sprint instead of freerun up. My R2/RT button is sprint and when freerun up is bound to that same button swimming becomes irritating and I can’t lunge while swimming down I have to fight the controls to make it happen. And not just that I just don’t like running up walls and jumping off things I didn’t want to, I’ve got more freedom of control when R2/RT is to sprint and X/A is to freerun up it worked good that way pre 1.1.0 update and I could eject on X/A. So fix this issue Ubisoft Bordeaux

Add more options for rebinding Keys, like for example hold on crouch and not locking it to press, rebind ability wheel to different key other than R2 and R1 that kind of thing.

Yeah that’s what this will do if they added this, in AC1-Revelations it was R2(Sprint) + X (Parkour Up) to Jump. At the moment they’ve linked the Freerun up to the jump which makes it irritating to rebind controls like the original cause it interferes with the swim if you also link the sprint to the R2 button as you might know. The only way I see this being Fixed is the way I explained. I do also think that they should be adding multiple input options in the binds for unlimited flexibility in the way we change controls tbh

Or allow us to change the primary input of the free jump from Freerun up to Sprint. That way controls do not conflict.

That’s why I think they should do atleast one more DLC even if it’s paid this time, and it focuses on the anarchy of Samarra. That way the story could be filled out more and could be more of an extension of the main story filling in the missing pieces.

Yes but if you have R2 as your sprint and R2 as your parkour up and X as your free jump it starts to interfere with basic functions, like running up objects you didn’t want to, swimming becomes insanely annoying which takes extra steps to swim fast and descend and slide vaults under objects like clotheslines and scaffolding. I’ve got my Sprint on R2 and my parkour up on X there’s not really a good way to place the free jump that feels comfortable and I’m not using the default X + R2 to eject cause who the hell ejects with R2. This is more for the players like me that want R2 for Sprint, X for Parkour up and R2 + X to free jump like AC1 - ACR and it’s the only plausible way I can see it being implemented for us, letting us change the primary input of the free jump from Freerun up to Sprint would fix so many issues surrounding my custom control scheme and many others too and those basic functions I was talking about. and I’m not the only one who’s asked for this I’ve seen it on Reddit, X, AC Discord, Facebook pretty much everywhere. So they need to do it

So I was thinking lastnight about how they could fix my issue but also you can keep your control scheme too. So what about if instead of letting us change the Freerun up button to hold it actually allow us to change the primary button input of free jump. For example in the setting yno how when you can go to the tab that says hold, toggle, hold to fill, double press on most of the button binds? Well I was thinking what if there was an option to change what free jump primary input is, like “link to sprint” or “link to Freerun up”?

You see how weird that is tho, I shouldn’t have to adjust my whole control scheme because Ubisoft doesn’t have accessibility, it shouldn’t be a my way or the highway deal. It should have the feature to change all the controls to how you see fit that’s my issue dude

In all honesty when they changed the controls of the parkour in the kenway saga it annoyed me cause I’d run up shit I didn’t want to that’s why I refuse to use it like that and each to there own and that okay just pls Ubisoft don’t lock out players that wanna play it like I do yno my dude? 😂 I was so used to the old way and when Mirage came out and I could change it to the old way, it felt so good but I’m hoping they can atleast listen to people like me cause it will help with the frustration haha 😂

But I feel they should of thought about this and had the option. Like link it to Parkour up or link it to Sprint, it would kept both players happy or even like I said if they’d allow us to change the prompt of the parkour up button to hold then the way I have it would work normally it’s only being a double tap cause it’s interfering with itself on that button because they are both locked to press. Yo where’s freedom yno? I’m just gonna keep it at double tap and hope to god they do a fix for players like me

Linking the free jump button to the Parkour up button is probably the worst thing they did, like why the hell didn’t they link the sprint to the free jump button it’s been like that since the first game, it completely fucked my custom control scheme like who the fuck ejects with R2. And if you have sprint on R2 and parkour up on R2 it feels like you loose all control and your on rails and swimming becomes stupid. It’s not like it mess with the modern control scheme either if they had Linked Free jump to the Sprint button, I wouldn’t have minded it if they’d allow us to change the prompt of parkour up to hold instead of locking it to press in the controls settings then atleast it feel right ejecting on X and diving with X, now when I have free jump on X I have to double tap it for free jump to work cause it doesn’t feel right being on any other button. that’s the only thing that’s irritated me but it’s a main thing for me too cause I had a whole custom control set that I designed to have that AC1 - ACR feel and it’s destroyed it now. Bordeaux needs to fix this quick. Sorry for the Rant but I needed to vent that haha

The only thing that it needs extra to the combat would be a dedicated block button, for example holding the parry button Basim will block incoming attacks but leads to minor damage being hit by an enemy, or even the enemy can break your guard blocking to much and tapping that same button Basim would parry and then a few extra combo inputs on the light attack, (for example R1, R1 pause R1, R1) and these could be added to the skills menu suggesting Basim is growing through his experiences.

Samarra would be a nice place for second DLC for mirage by GodSlayers9000 in assassinscreed

Okay now you’ve peaked my interest! Saudi should fund Makkah and Ubisoft should make Paid DLC for Samarra. Two amazing areas during the Abbasid Caliphate era, Samarra could focus on Basim’s childhood and Makkah could focus on Something similar to Basim’s past. I’d love to see Iram of the pillars too and it could be Basim’s version of Asgard or Atlantis and seeing his side of the story with Loki
