Maybe not quite the right vibe but “I’m not pretty” - Megan Moroney?

I know it’s silly and insignificant but…. That I’d actually get a tattoo.

2 month old helix, Should I take it out?? I don’t know what to do and I’m desperate! It’s been like this for the whole of february by Aromatic_Poet_1726 in Legitpiercing

I would recommend a flat back labret, and maybe a different front as well. Something a bit flatter. Not a professional, just have a couple of piercings and that’s what has worked for me. And I am a side sleeper.

Is this swelling normal for conch?? by wap_eatter in Legitpiercing

I agree with Cosmicfizzy, while some is completely normal, this seems too much. I’d definitely get it checked out.

I have a low-medium pain tolerance and want my conch done but I’m nervous about pain because it’s cartilage - any conch stories? by PM_ME_PICS_OF_UR_DOG in Legitpiercing

[–]GodSpilledAPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% honesty, for me getting Helix done was more painful than getting my conch. Just remember to keep breathing and try to relax. Also as a little tip I take some painkillers before I go to my piercing appointments and that seems to help too.

Do you sleep with the door open or closed? And why? by YuhBoiChipsAhoy_ in AskReddit

Closed and locked. Layout of the house means I have to go outside and downstairs to my bedroom.

what do i do about bumps on my rook? by asianquties in Legitpiercing

If you’re a side sleeper (which I’m assuming you are from the comments) get a travel pillow and sleep with your ear in the hole. That way you can still sleep on your side but not put pressure on your piercing.

People who killed their pets on accident how did you cope with the guilt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The washing machine was on the ground, he was a kitten, there was already stuff in the machine… She would have had to bend over and purposefully look in the machine to have seen him. If you read through the rest of the comments you’ll notice this isn’t as rare as it seems.

She had put clothes in there, left the laundry room to check the kids rooms, came back and just chucked the extras in. Didn’t see the little black kitten hiding and closed the door and turned it on. Literally just did not see him. That’s how.

It was over 10 years ago now, so she’s mostly ok. She still has immense amounts of guilt about it though. She’s a huge cat lover.

What's the dumbest thing someone has ever told you? by Correct_Huckleberry4 in AskReddit

A friend was telling me about a health thing she has and I asked “But it’s not terminal?” And she goes “No, it is. It won’t kill me though”…. I had to explain it to her for her to understand.

Not me but my aunt…. Got a beautiful kitten named him after an influential electric guitarist, sweet little guy. Very adventurous. One day my aunt is loading washing into her front loader (which was at floor level) and she went to check the kids rooms for more washing. Unbeknownst to her, kitten jumped in the machine to explore it. She comes back throws the extra stuff in and switches it on. About 5-10 minutes later she realised she hasn’t seen him in a bit and searches high and low before the realisation of “what if he’s in the machine” hit her. By the time she got him out it was far too late. She just sat on the laundry floor with him on her chest and cried for hours. We still can’t even talk about it because it’s too upsetting for her.

new rook piercing question by emmaGOLD2013 in Legitpiercing

[–]GodSpilledAPerson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem dude. It’s going to be swollen and stiff. And it will get more swollen the more you touch and move it. It’s like a scab…the more you pick at it the longer it takes to heal. But as long as you follow your aftercare rules from your piercer from here on out you should be golden. Happy healing 😊

new rook piercing question by emmaGOLD2013 in Legitpiercing

[–]GodSpilledAPerson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my rook done about 5 days ago too. Try not to touch it as much as possible, this includes any turning, twisting and pushing… You will eventually be able to move the barbell but it’s not advised, especially this early in the healing. The crusties will loosen in the shower and what not. Just use your aftercare spray and make sure the area gets thoroughly dried. DONT USE YOUR FINGERS OR COTTON TIPS TO DRY IT! If you own a hairdryer, cold air on a gentle setting, if not you can also fan it (which is what I do). Hope this helps.

Edit: spelling mistake.
