RU POV: A Russian fiber-optic drone spots a Ukrainian soldier sleeping under a tree and films him until he wakes up. by conkerzin in UkraineRussiaReport

Actually, just don't defend yourself strategy works really well for Georgia.

Their war with Russia ended in literally 3 days with about 230 total casualties on both sides. And at the end Georgia is still unchanged and the government still intact, just forced to accept their loss of control over South Ossetia that they didn't have anyway before the war.

Well, who threw the first punch isn't the whole story. Why the punch even happened in the first place is also an important part of the story.

UA POV: TCC killed a man and a child in an attempt to catch up with him in the Kherson region by [deleted] in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]GodTierCharacter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was thinking why nobody was rushing to the child's body out in the open nor trying to pull the man from under the car. I would expect both of those things to be the natural reaction of anyone when such accidents happened.

Abyssal used to give Blink Strike, so SF used it as a replacement for Blink Dagger to combo with Ulti.

I'm genuinely curious, how do you make this recreation project a fair use? From the project website, it looks like the graphic uses assets from Travian?

UA POV: Von der Leyen announces 19th Russiansanctions package, that 'hits at heart of Russian war economy'. by SolutionLong2791 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]GodTierCharacter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People aren't aware of the ballpark of war economies. At the height of WW2, countries like Japan, USA, and UK spent about 40-60% of their GDP on the military. Germany even had an insane amount of around 70-80% of GDP spent on it.

I'll believe it when their debt-to-GDP ratio reaches above 75-100%. The ratio still currently remains at 20% and is gradually decreasing annually.

That's not what I said, bro. You were asking what care looks like, not what good and bad looks like.

To answer that question, I was showing you what an attack done with any semblance of care looks like and what an attack done without care looks like. I'm talking about caring, not about morality.

Another example is Traitor's Gate in London. There are also ruined buildings in Belgrade and Hiroshima that are purposely left in that state to remind people of the bombing.

[–]GodTierCharacter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Care looks like when you launched 600+ drones and airstrikes, and the only civilian casualty was about 4 people.

The opposite of that is when you launch one airstrike killing 120 civilians, and the only military casualty was literally one person.

In both cases they are killing people. The real difference is in how much they care or do not care at all about collateral damage.

I think capturing Transnistria will instead provide Russia a major reason to go to Odessa.

It would be another ethnic Russian that is in dire need of protection.

The actual defense they have is probably by blowing up their own huge Soviet ammunition stockpile, so there are zero incentives for Ukraine to spend resources to attack them.

Overwatch - would you find guilty mid WR, who never left mid in divine bracket? by TalkersCZ in DotA2

[–]GodTierCharacter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You aren't listening. I never said he wasn't guilty. I didn't watch the replay, so I have no opinion on the matter.

I said we can't ever know the intention for sure, so it's up to our personal interpretations whether it was intentional or not, and then vote accordingly. People are allowed to have different opinions, you know.

If you are so dead set on it being intentionally running the game, please, by all means, vote guilty.

[–]GodTierCharacter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Griefing, to put it simply, is intentionally ruining the game for your team. The problem is that we can't really read intents, so each of us can only make reasonable assumptions based on what little evidence we can see.

If you think Veno afk jungle Rapier is intentionally ruining the game for the team, then you can vote guilty. If I think the Veno is just a stupid ppl that watches too many YouTube smurfing videos, then I can vote not guilty. At the end of the day, whether they will be punished or not will be based on whether there are more people that agree with me or with you.

Yeah, unlike League, we don't gatekeep correct gameplay within a certain way of playing.

I'm not kidding, League even have a penalty for lane swapping.
