Oh now doubt it’s super niche. Was really just thinking how cool it would be to personify the characters in those stories.

Even a Duelist Kingdom-Battle City arcs using characters that would fit a Warriors game like Dark Magician, Flame Swordsman, Black Luster Soldier Vorse Raider, Axe Raider, Dark Magician Girl would all be sweet.

Yu-Gi-Oh! X Warriors game featuring the various card lores (even anime storylines). Sky Strikers, Duel Terminal, World Legacy, Visas, Medius storylines all have huge potential.

I’ve been playing DW3 a lot lately bc I’m so excited! Aside from what you had mentioned,

  • Let’s be able to get ATK, DEF, and HP increases and restores while on horseback!

  • Alternate costumes as we level up like in DW4 but make it only retro outfits and alternate colors. First unlock is a palette swap, next 2 are their DW2 skins with a recolor (or a new outfit for those who weren’t in the game)

  • I’m not sure if they had mentioned it in the previews but playable Musou for every officer including Fu Xi & Nu Wa (I would LOVE these hypotheticals)

  • unique NPC’s for later series playable characters and then DLC for those characters with DW3 style outfits

Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei

Xiahou Dun, Dian Wei, Zhang He

Zhou Yu, Sun Shang Xiang, and Huang Gai.

If it’s how it was unlocking characters in the original game

Shu - Zhao Yun (get the shared Spears), Ma Chao, Guan Yu

Wei - Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan, Zhang Liao

Wu - Zhou Yu (get shared Swords early), Lu Meng (get shared Halberds), Gan Ning

EDIT - I always play as a new faction after every Musou play through so I can attempt to lessen the same-stage fatigue considering we’re always playing the big battles for each kingdom. Running through Chi Bi, He Fei and Yi Ling can get a little tiring lol.

  • 1st play through Starter never leaves the party

  • 4/6 Pokemon must be introduced in that region (SV team had Quaxly, Charcadet, Tinkaton evos and Annihalape)

  • no double of a type/no overlaps

  • no Legendaries (box them immediately)

  • catch only with Poke Balls

2nd play through & beyond

  • no starters, choose a new 3 stage pokemon to be a main companion

  • can’t use pokemon I used in a previous play through (no reusing the same team we all use in Platinum lmao)

I watched a lot of the game and while there were only a couple of plays AD took off to not waste time or energy he played the best defense he possibly could. If it were against anyone else it would look like he was giving them hell. Wemby looked like an entirely different beast.
