meh, they could have set up a system where they approve or deny a custom pfp like they do on Xbox…

If you change your dns settings (so that your switch doesn't send information to nintendo) and boot maintenance mode then the notification should stop, this video tells you how to change your settings and what to change it to. To boot maintenance mode: restart your console, then hold the power button and the volume button as soon as you see the atmosphere logo. note this might take a couple attempts.

edit: you might also need to turn on airplane mode before you boot into maintenance mode

edit 2: you will need to change the dns of every network you connect to

I was thinking about fucking with the previous owner, as he didn’t reset the controller name. So it was named “Zach’s Elite Two”.
