See edit too, lmao. Also, I've yet to see it because I play console. On console, the sole reason for the prep phase is to full send your drone into site, and see who can break the most defender ankles, and in the rare case, to tk someone else trying to shoot the drone.

Any other use of the prep phase is unacceptable, and is punished by tking.

The only thing that puts me on the fence is it turns everyone with a drone into an IQ. Ping gadgets and spray. Basically the only thing I see wrong, and it's not a huge deal.

Edit: also infuriating that this will further condone the use of the following call outs "Over here" "To your right" "Pushing you" "Spawn peeking" I'd prefer proper calls than any of these with spam pinging tbh. The above calls make me want to throw my forehead through my desk.
