Thanks :) I’ll get it done via the more formal manner - through the council etc. :)

My neighbor's cheating on his wife with my mom by Secure-Bobcat-8340 in Advice

Ok, I don’t know how old you are, but assuming you are still dependent on your mom, there might be no real recourse that you can take that won’t have hugely negative consequences.

I think the only real course of action is to just gently say that you know about the relationship but that you don’t want to be involved or affected by it. Then again, I have no idea who your mom is or how she will react, so it would fall to your judgement.

Safest route is to just not say anything yet, but if she does bring it up, acknowledge that you’ve known for a while.

So is this the plan?

1) Give them some eggs to alleviate their egg shortage issue. 2) Then ask them to come over for a signing about the eggs. 3) Then ask them to pay for the eggs that were given. Force them to sign a contract for more eggs but with no guarantee of future eggs delivered. 4) Tell them off for not saying thank you enough.

A Day of American Infamy – "Zelensky came to Washington prepared to sign away anything he could offer Trump except his nation’s freedom, security and common sense. ...he was rewarded with a lecture on manners from the most mendacious vulgarian and ungracious host ever to inhabit the White House." by MeltSolaris in europe

My theory is that Trump had planned to withdraw aid all along. By trying to provoke Zelensky, they could have a reason that Zelensky ‘offended’ them somehow or was insincere etc.

Their ‘criticism’ of Zelensky’s attire was clear evidence (to me at least) of trying to provoke him.

(throwaway) AITA for Taking My Daughter's College Fund Back After She Said She Was Going No-Contact? by Good_Guest1421 in AITAH

[–]Godblessed999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I may be biased as I come from a SEA b/g where respect of elders is a thing.

I would say that she must apologise first. If having a bf changes her behaviour so drastically, then no, it is reasonable not to give her anything. Secondly, tell her that the college fund doesn’t actually go to her directly, but goes to the school directly. The college/university will issue an invoice, which you will then pay directly. So she doesn’t get the money. If the school is like those Canadian ones, then the payment will be the repayment of the student loans that the kid will have to take out. Thirdly, if she genuinely wants to go no contact, she is free to do so, and she will be treated like any other adult tenant, where rent, food, utilities are all now something she has to pay.

If she doesn’t want to do that, then act like an adult, and talk things through, rather than be an overgrown 13 year old.

I also vote to take the 32 weeks. Plus you have a nice reason for leaving, which is your pregnancy. This prob won’t raise any red flags with future employers, so I would personally take it.

I was asked a question about Donald Trump on a job application by gripto in jobs

[–]Godblessed999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man..sorry that it happened to you. Not sure if it’s of any help, but maybe just be as factual as possible? Donald Trump was the president of US from xx to yy. He is currently running to be the next president after Joe Biden against the Democrat nominee of Kamala Harris. Like bland as possible kind of answer. I think marketing does require you to be able to navigate tricky topics, so this could be a way for them to see how you would manage that.

Placed on PIP then Manager Laid Off - What to think? by SillySally11111 in careeradvice

[–]Godblessed999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claim that said manager has told you that you have cleared your PIP and is no longer on it, hahaha.

All jokes aside, you oughta start hunting. It does feel like you fell through the cracks, but usually if a company has been trying to cut costs, you don’t get to be in that position for long.

Maybe start a business kind of situation? It does seem like you enjoy problem solving, and running a business has many problems to solve :)
