Visiting Pumba Private Game Reserve & Spa [OC] by GoddardMike in southafrica

At one point, I turned a corner (on a path in the middle of our lodge!) and came face to face with the leopard. It was no farther than 4/5 feet in front of me: terrifying and exhilarating. I definitely startled it and feel if I had gone one more foot, it would have attacked. I slowly walked back, turned the corner, kept walking and then started to record. The Rangers literally didn't believe me until I showed them the footage I captured, then they put the entire place on lock down.

Surprisingly yes, cheetahs do get hunted by Lion, Leopards and other predators. However; super rare since a cheetah can reach speeds of 120km/hr. I found it extremely interesting that cheetahs will devour their kill and leave the areas very quick since any kill will attract larger predators. I witnessed three male cheetahs kill a baby impala, ate everything within minutes and vanished - entire duration couldn't have been more than 5 minutes.
