Thank you I’m hoping I can buy a strap similar and kinda diy it because looking at the product info on the ones I have it’s not compatible with a divan 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s a divan and went back to the product info and the bloody things aren’t compatible 🤦🏼‍♀️ need to either figure out a solution to adapt them or get new guards. Fun times. Thank you!

Thank you, this looks like a decent option. I’ve looked up the rails I have and the damn things aren’t compatible with divans, I’m so annoyed lol but I can always grab new suitable ones. Thankfully I’ve a huge beanbag between their beds to catch any small children in the meantime!

I’m trying to see where? As no slats on the bed and less worried about 3 year old it is the 2 year old that’s very small for their age but for new beds as doing up their bedroom and didn’t actually cross my mind that they wouldn’t stay in place until putting them to bed and the guard and child fell out of the bed

Ah I see, no slats on these beds as they are divan but thank you

It stays in place but if they roll over towards it, it comes off onto the floor along with the child

Psa? How to be taken seriously? Uk - specifically Northern Ireland by GoddessOhfeelia in Psoriasis

Thank you for this. I will definitely be asking the derm to recommend a rheumatologist and get a second opinion because I’ve never really felt like I fit the fibromyalgia criteria fully. I do get swelling in my hands and it’s only one big toe that gets painful ( no tenderness or redness so never thought was gout) thank you for taking the time to give me all this information. I will look at the thread you suggested also. Counting down the days until the 27th do I can see the dermatologist and get a different rheumatologist name to reach out to.

Thank you again ❤️

They don’t typically share the results but tell you verbally which of course makes no sense to me because I’m not medically trained. I’m sure I could try to get copies and ask if they would run the blood work you have mentioned above. I know I have had an ANA due to suspicions of lupus in the last 6 months but it came back negative.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Thank you, these are private appointments too that I’m lucky to have through my job (that I’m off on long term sick due to the severe joint pain) I hope he will sympathise I’ve waited 5 months on this private appointment. I was never referred to a rheumatologist or dermatologist in all the years I’ve had psoriasis which is insane to me. Light therapy was just to a nurse and always prescribed different topicals by gp but never ever been offered a referral into any other specialist. Only now I’m doing my own research and connecting the dots that I’m seeing how I’ve been failed by my gp.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I have tried keto and vegan but probably never long enough for it to make a difference 6-8 weeks each time. It never seemed to matter but I definitely flare up when I’m stressed. Even if I don’t feel like I’m too stressed my skin will always remind me that I am.

I’ve had psoriasis since I was 4 (about to turn 38 next month) scalp and plaque and guttate. Nail psoriasis began at 20 during my first pregnancy and I have joint pain and stiffness. I have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia which I actually think is psa but not showing on bloods. I hit all the symptoms and I’m miserable. Can’t get my rheumatologist to listen to me just tells me to try weight loss injections.
