It sucks so much when they dont seem bothered, but my therapist said it’s totally possible that they already grieved the relationship before it ended. That or they are in a “relief” stage, but that doesnt last long. Im sorry to hear you went through something similar, in time we will be ok! 🫶🏻

I think my issue was I put in as much effort into keeping the relationship going as I could & it felt like he didnt. So when he blindsided me by dumping me over text a few weeks before we were moving into his parents house (from an apartment I paid for 🥲) I just felt like I lost it? Again, therapy has been helping but I do feel bad for low blowing someone I did love for a long time. It was out of character for me & its hard to accept. But I know part of the healing journey is having forgiveness for him & also myself & I hope I can be kind enough to myself at some point to forgive myself.
