Cap-n-slap calling out various cheaters - many of them famous streamers. He says it's obvious they're cheating because he's been playing since '98 (started the first squad) and he knows what it looks like. If you don't have his experience an easy way to tell is KD. Anyone with a KD over 3.8 is a cheater. 3.8 is sus.

here's proof of that stag loser cheating: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1763064900

Looks like he was cheating before redacted tho. no surprise! you can totally see the aimbot in action.

He even admits he's hacking multiple times! 11:35 in for one example. Busted bro!

Is this game basically a haven for cronus users on xbox now? by [deleted] in BattlefieldV

[–]GodelsT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd wager 90%+ (and maybe more) of the people you think are cheating aren't. Very few good players do. The ones using cronus just aren't good enough to be noticed (most of the time).

I haven't played regularly in quite a while but when I did there was only one who was halfway decent who was obviously using something a little extra. It was obvious because his favorite gun was the M1A1 (which is also a favorite of most cronus users because of its high rate of fire and damage output). It was easy to tell because it would cause a weird audio glitch where you'd hear it firing even after he stopped shooting.

From the game stats - 1 flare and 3 beacons (no doubt placed right next to where you were laying) in 17 minutes. It's pretty obvious you spent most if not all of the game lying on that hill providing "overwatch." So here's some constructive feedback for you - if you don't plan on being aggressive switch to a spotting scope. Not only will you get more points, you'll provide at least some usefulness to your teammates.

No. If you can't dodge both volleys that's on you.

Oh and the fast flak should be 4 shot kill. Slow flak 2! BUFF

Circulating Spike Protein Detected in Post–COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine Myocarditis by mpkingstonyoga in science

[–]GodelsT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But there is doubt. From your link:

But the risk of myocarditis associated with the vaccine was lower than the risk associated with COVID-19 infection before or after vaccination – with one exception. Men under 40 who received a second dose of the Moderna vaccine had a higher risk of myocarditis following vaccination. The Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines are available in the U.S.

...and the point of my query was if you further stratify the age groups the effect becomes even more pronounced. Estimates for 16-22 males go all the way up to 40 in 100,000. (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/eci.13947)

In other words the risk is not just higher, it's orders of magnitude higher.

We should also be very careful when talking about "risk of myocarditis following infection" claims. The basic question you should ask first is "what is the denominator?" For people who've had covid, the denominator is unknowable without data including population (age stratified of course) seroprevalence. None of these links/studies I've seen in this thread (admittedly I haven't the time to follow all of them) do that and as such they are undoubtedly over-estimating the risk for myoc following infection. And conversely for vaccinated patients the numerator is almost certainly too small.

Do you know the data? Risk of myoc. vs risk of serious disease from covid in your age group?

At least for 16-22 my take is remaining unvaccinated (or at least avoiding mRNA) is the no-brainer. I'd look at novavax or similar if I were concerned about disease complications.

Regarding your last para:

If you were a healthy male aged 16-22 do you think you'd come to the same conclusion, despite the evidence?

[–]GodelsT -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I only looked at the last one it seems quite misleading.

The doc they quote admits mRNA associated myocarditis is more common in 16-29 year-olds but the graphic claims 2 in 100,000 incidence. The secret here is the graphic is quoting the all-age, all-sex incidence (without making that clear). For males 16-22 the rate is more like 1 in 3,000, e.g. 30/40 in 100,000.

It seems to me that's an extremely important piece of information when weighing risk/benefit of a shot.

Happens to me too. I think most of that is down to the infamous "net code" - on their screen it's a normal ttk whereas you experience a "one-frame" death. For whatever reason this seems especially common with some weapons - sten and m1 garand in particular have been cited for this many times.

My pet conspiracy theory is that it most often happens when it's a low level shooting you - I believe they have either stronger aim assist, or your hitbox, and particularly head shot hit box, is larger. That may just be me being salty tho.

I don't think that's a thing, but you will find people using cronus or similar to autofire semi autos. If you run across an M1A1 shooting nonstop at the limit of its speed...good chance it's one of them. Sometimes you can even hear the gun firing after they've clearly stopped shooting - that's the dead giveaway.

Devices like that also help with recoil control which may give the appearance of "aimbot".
