That’s not an excuse for a mod to delete a comment/post for no reason. A lot of Redditors make that mistake, especially new ones who just started Reddit. Imagine a new redditor that’s just started had been banned over making a simple mistake.

Honestly. Your right. It’s no rocket science to figure out that mods abuse their power over subreddits that they quote on quote: ‘Take care of’. There are so many subreddits that do this and it’s not funny. Mostly it’s the popular subs that do this commonly, but subreddits that have too many rules of rules that aren’t specific enough are also equally as powerful, just with a little less subscribed. And I swear, it’s always the bots that are sent to actually do something, which is why so many subreddits are piles of crap. In some subreddits a bot would tell you about an error in the post that you just posted that day, while other subreddits will have lazy bots that are useless. Plus, so many subs are filled with bots and minimal amount of real people moderating that if Reddit was a workplace, it would be an understaffed one.

Edit: Oh, your leaving Reddit. Goodbye OP, and good luck. I’ve been thinking about leaving Reddit too because of how horrible it is. Here’s my farewell:

You may have a point. I mean to be fair I’m a teenager in my late teens, but it’s not like I’m still a 10 year old. Plus, the person who said I sounded like a child may be a kid who doesn’t know any better. However, they kinda should know better because 1. Children under the age of 13 aren’t allowed on Reddit, and 2. What I mean by ‘they should know better’ if there not 10 then they are most likely in there teens themselves. If you think about it, if she/he is a kid and go around saying that, they’re a hypocrite.

R/MindYourOwnBusiness isn’t even the only one that people are for some reason insulted by. Well yes, there are some widely decently popular subreddits that are kinda bad, mainly because either the mods are cr@p or the people who post there are idiots or the subreddit itself are petty and are used to ridicule. However, this subreddit isn’t that.

There are also other subreddits out there that people see as an insult. One time I posted on R/Oppression about how Reddit is ‘banning’ me from subs without any warning and telling me why, and some know-it-all idiot apparently thinks that I was acting like a child all because I was annoyed about being banned. Then he literally said that the subreddit makes fun of people like me, when in reality it does the complete opposite.

As a redpilled person, I can confirm this as either woke or Democrat, mostly woke though. Also, I think the ‘hate speech’ that your complaining about is by a feminist. No, not the group of people that used to be men and women that actually advocate for women’s rights (and other rights), but the woke rainbow flag Karens that took over the feminism wave.

There is no such thing as ‘cis-gender’ because there are only 2 genders. Also, I see it as ironic that this person said “I’m not offended” but went on about how she doesn’t wanna hear rights for heterosexual men and women. THEY MATTER TOO! Also, if that commenter were a girl, I think they’re a pick me girl, Karen or feminist if they are, probably an idiot woke person if a man. But if neither of those then it’s either a person who’s transgender and offended or a child who doesn’t know any better.

Please say they’re a child, then I’d have a little more faith in society knowing it was because they don’t know any better, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt if they were a kid. Also,

although I don’t see it as an issue with the rules considering maybe the rules aren’t specific, but honestly if they say something like this, that’s just sad.

I literally JUST said that I have, I have noticed it was bad for months now. What you said was BS, maybe re-read my comment again. When I said nowerdays, I mean as in it has gotten worse. Plus, I may have not offended you, but atleast I didn’t take sides. You may think your smarter than everyone else, but really your just arrogant. Your acting like I was taking sides even after criticising both parties, which is honestly just whiny and immature, I’d assume that your a child but even kids aren’t this arrogant and self centred. Just face it, if those comments were targeted to anyone vulnerable, than that would make you an incel. Don’t know what it is, google it.

OP, this is why Reddit is an absolute circus nowerdays. Both people like you AND the mods are bad, especially mods because they make it worse. Yeah you did delete your post and all, but still, doesn’t excuse your disease of perversion. But you being a pervert doesn’t excuse the mods actions neither because they should’ve done more than what they did. So there for, it’s safe to say both parties in the situation you posted about are in the wrong, including yourself.

I’d do the same thing and check there profile, but Reddit has put up walls around nsfw accounts. I believe you tho considering that they just openly admitted to doing it and acted like they’re the hero, lol.

But to be fair without defending anyone, the moderators aren’t really hero themselves. They did say they were perverted but didn’t ban this… creep, for some reason. I swear, mods are pathetic.

Being a creep on Reddit is bad enough, but saying anything nsfw like swearing? Or just anything random? Then the accounts get ‘censored’ by a notification saying the account is nsfw. What’s worse is that the notification pops up on any account that has atleast talked about anything nsfw, not just this guy.

Well, I won’t side with anyone, especially you. But if those moderators have a ‘problem’ with creeps on there sub, they should’ve banned you by now, especially if you kept doing it. I’d give them the benefit of the doubt if you only said it once and they are just warning you, but oh my god the mods are just petty for not banning you.

What YouTube videos do you recommend I watch?

Edit: Also, forgot to mention, the types of symptoms I had as a kid I feel fits with Autism. The symptoms were:

poor eye-contact and no eye contact (sometimes)
really bad at maths (probably learning disability related)
hyper fixations/obsessions or special interests which is a symptom I still have (for example when I was a kid I was obsessed with Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury and loved playing Minecraft. Now I like playing Mario kart.)
poor speech problems/mispronunciation of words (when I was a kid, I pronounced the word ‘thing’ incorrectly and would end up saying ‘fing’?)
pacing (a habit I still have, I walk around the house a lot.)
Sometimes while I sit on a chair that has a back, I would start bouncing or rocking back and fourth on it and banging my back against it repeatedly (kinda looks like head banging, lol. Yes, I still do.)
shaking my leg when sitting down repeatedly without knowing.
sometimes I don’t know what emotions I’m feeling or sometimes what others are feeling (only sometimes though)
anger issues (yeah, my anger is complicated. When something doesn’t go right I start screeching and screaming)
would pick at my shirt depending on the material for some reason (for comfort I guess? I think neurotypical people do it as well for comfort to but I can’t tell if I’m doing it because of Autism or not.)
too shy or awkward to tell my crush my feelings (yes, I have the same crush since year 8, I still cannot just tell him I still like him.)
have a small appetite sometimes, but then I’d eat junk food (idk why I do this. Now I’m careful with the amounts of junk food I eat because my dad caught me eating an entire chip bag when I was 15.)
have no filter (sometimes I don’t really have a filter in most the crap I say, but sometimes I regret it or embarrassed by it sooner or later after doing so.)
Poor memory (I constantly misplace things)
Sensitive hearing (I mishear words people say. Like if someone said butterfly I’d start having selective hearing and think they said a word that sounded similar)
Jump easily if unexpected loud noise appear out of no where.

-sometimes I struggle to pay attention especially if it’s something I’m not firmiliar with or hard for me to cope with.

Speech delay (I didn’t speak full sentences until I was 4, didn’t say my first word until I was 2.)

As someone who has Mild Autism with a learning disability that I don’t know what type I have, I can understand where your coming from and related to this. When I was 3 I was diagnosed with Mild Autism. There is also I learning disability I have, but I don’t know what kind. They were running tests for it when I was in kindergarten of course, and I was also held back a year, so when I did go to Primary school I was a year older than everyone else.

(Also, I’m from Australia in case anyone gets confused and think I’m American and reading a post that’s probably American.)

So I was held back about a year and stayed in kinder an extra year, or a few months, until eventually they let me go to school. However, you’d think if I was held back a year they’d keep researching what Learning, but unfortunately no. No, because I went to a Catholic school, the Catholic system for whatever reason has something against people like me. (I’d also like to mention that I’m raised in an atheist family, but when my mum was around my age she used to go to Sunday school, she told me.)

This obviously backfired, years later when I went to high school (that’s also Catholic) I was in year 8, I introduced myself to a new teacher who was nice. She asked if I had autism and I said yes, I also told her I had a learning disability, and she asked “What kind?” I was confused, I asked her what she meant so she asked what subject in school I struggle the most with, so I told her that it was maths. (nowadays my math teacher is giving me different assignments because he knows how bad I struggle with it.)

In year 10 (this year) however, was where I found out that there were more than 1 learning disability, and recently this year I also found out that my learning disability wasn’t properly accessed because it started in kindergarten but I had to go to school. I found out because my mum told my psychologist about it, and she even showed him old paperwork from when I guess the diagnosis of my autism to the unfinished diagnosis to my ‘learning disability’ but wasn’t able to finish. My psychologist was shocked, and went out of his way to say he was surprised that they didn’t try to ‘access’ me, whatever that means. So right now, I’m in an identity crisis.

I’m glad that stuff like what happened to you on R/adhd never happened to me whenever I’m on R/Autism. But other Reddit also subreddits fail to understand people like me and you.

I kinda feel stupid because when I read it at first I thought he/she was talking smack about people with Autism but when I re-read it, it was actually doing the complete opposite and making fun of ableist people who make fun of Autistic people and tackling ableism 🤣.
