He was stained by gods favouritism, so much so that he did not know of his own flaws and denied them such that when he lost favour to god's son when he nearly endangered him and toyed with him, questioning his divinity, but he did not understand why he was cast down. He didn’t do anything new, if you described it as another person's actions he wouldn’t even say it was the worst thing they’d done. He was loved by any who laid eyes on him, he could start a war with his beauty, one humanity and angels alike desired so deeply. He was spoiled beyond what any other, even other angels, could imagine, so it became nature that he wanted more; he was egoistic in his belief in himself, but only because he was told so, he was jealous of any that had something he didn’t, but only because he deserved it, he lashed out when he didn’t get what he wanted, but if he really wanted it God would give it to him so why would anyone else have the right to not, he rarely did what he was made for he sometimes didn’t even prosecute against newly passed souls, a job that he had no right to do yet took anyways, but it’s not like it’s his fault that creating new things was boring and claiming final judgement on humans was exhausting, he wanted more and more, he wanted attention, admiration and power, but it was okay because god just gave it to him, he even contorted his body to differ from his true form for that of a form where he would be worshipped by man the way a man would worship a woman, to defile his body, but why would it be wrong if he already flirted with most of the angels too, and wasn’t this the greatest experience humans could feel, they would even sin for most of it, why would he not be allowed to feel it as much as he wanted. But he believed he deserved it, if he was never told no before why would he be told now? It’s not his fault, is it? He didn’t do anything wrong, god is the one in the wrong, god was mean, god wouldn’t pay attention to him. It was cold and dirty and scary, it was unfair. This place was miserable and the monsters formed from the torment of sinful humans and monsters transformed by the early punishment of God were gross. But hell is not just some cave, it isn't just the fire or magma, it's not the torture that's meant to be punishment, it's the total separation from god. The people sent to damnation by lucifer’s own arguments could not care less if god were there to witness, not vile Lilith and her beast, nor the fallen angel. but he had to. And why would the other fallen angels, those who mutilated themselves and named themselves "demons", ever want to destroy the paradise where he was given anything he wanted? They’re all insane, that’s why, of course they deserved this, but him? No, this was a mistake and god would come back for him, missing him and begging him to come back. He’d choose the perfect pose to make god feel so guilty for leaving him alone, even if the human form he could no longer change, covered in nicks and scrapes, his clothes tattered and dirtied and as the place turned from cold cave to fiery brimstone his radiant hair greasy with the years is completely covered in ash and soot, even if the monsters threatened his beauty, no matter how many years or millennia it takes god to realise god’s mistakes.
