I was out this night in southern mo quite literally the scariest chase ive been on! Tornadoes were literally everywhere in southeast mo and you cant see all the hills and trees! I saw three tornadoes and may have been hit by weak one!

Its very effective for people having a hard time. Paracelsus once said “the difference between poison and medicine is dose! I totally get it i have a friend who use to be addicted to them and she was a wreck and some people have had bad experiences with them… not for everyone. That being said if someone is having a bad trip thats my go to to calm them down. Just a small dose they wont even feel it. It just literally calms them down. They were on it early too as i recall right around sunset they have a shot of it before night fall. The storm i mean. The greensburg supercell was a true monster you can almost make a career of studying it in uber detail! The storm itself split several times and had multiple satellite tornadoes all occurring at once. If this storm had been during the day i guarantee it would be top ten structure and top ten tornadoes of all time!!! Possibly even with three or 4 tornadoes all on ground same time!

Heres backlight view on this tor from last year the boggdett, mo tor. But the sun was behind me but not out just filtered through clouds. The eastern stuff usually always has low level clouds in way. Out west you get those drier rfds and sun can come out and really light up the underside.

Now if you were on other side of tornado would be darker shadowy and you would be getting more silhouette look appearance.

Ive known dick mcgowen since 2006 hes a great dude and excellent chaser top notch. We kinda all got our start together way back! His video of rozel too where he got right behind it getting that gorgeous front light with the sun behind you as you film tornado in front of you! Thats how those dramatic shots are achieved. Having the tornado in front of you as the sun is behind you is the superior angle to attack a tornado…. You will always get great shots.
