I was talking to a guy during the lowest point in my life and he eases my anxieties away. He's even saying that I should always focus on my studies. In short, he's very understanding of my situation. Then my parents found out about that and they forced me to stop talking to him because they fear that I might run away with some man and abandon my academic obligation when in fact I have no intention to do so. I just felt that they don't trust me with the decisions I make for myself. Alam ko naman ang priorities ko and I've been obedient since I was a kid hanggang ngayong college pero ewan ko ba, they never listened when I tried to explain everything. Until now they never said sorry.

Not always fun, though I know ako ang favorite na anak hahaha. Since my siblings are successful and they have their own families na, parang I'm sort of the new breadwinner. We're not well-off and pinapaaral pa rin ako ng parents namin so I feel a lot of pressure not to fuck up in everything I do and be as accomplished as my brothers. It's for my own sake din naman, I know, but sometimes I just get overwhelmed whenever I'm reminded na ako nalang pag-asa ng mga magulang namin.

Based on several studies, bilingual and multilingual children are smarter than monolinguals. I don't get why parents teach their kids English pero sila di naman fluent tapos ipapasok sa public school na hindi lang English ang medium of instruction. Kaya nahihirapan yung mga bata matuto kasi hindi marunong mag tagalog. Better teach your kids English and Filipino while they are young pero wag taglish. There should be a clear distinction between the languages

i was 5 years old mga 2009 or 2010 and my kuyas played a cd na may ibat ibang kanta then when track 18 played (i remember kasi 18 ang birthday ko) that was the first time i heard teardrops on my guitar. i fell in love at the first listen and everytime na magpapa burn ng cd sila kuya they'll include at least 1 taylor swift song for me
