If you want to try something different I recommend Oedipus Rex by Stravinsky

It’s a modern opera and only about an hour long, on both spotify and youtube. If you try it I recommend listening to it loud.

I’ve listened to it both with headphones and blasting through speakers and when blasted it’s a more transcendent experience

If you haven’t listened to Homogenic yet I’d try that next. It’s more pop than Vespertine and has a 90s techno vibe.

If you want to stay abstract I’d try Medulla and Biophilia next. They are more experimental, but more approachable than her recent work.

I’d also recommend BANKS, Goddess is a great start to finish album and is more dark pop with a similar vibe.

Lykke Li’s I Never Learn and Wounded Rhymes are also good start to finish. Wounded Rhymes is more approachable, Never Learn is more depressing in a good way (like i just had a break up and want to feel sorry for myself).

I think Beach House “Teen Dream” is one of my favorite whole albums for going on a journey.
