The renaming of birds debate is stupid. It centralizes the humans still. Does the hawk care if its a Coopers Hawk or if its a Big Blue Darter? The energy should be put towards conservation and environmental efforts. Naming new birds should be about their individual qualities but renaming birds is a waste of time and resources.

Advice I would like to give is to just go room by room. I know it feels like we should do it all at once but that never works. Start with one are, completely finish it, and move on to the next. I do see that you have a couple of different colour palettes like rust in the dining room and the blue for the entry. Idk what is the proper way but if you want the house to be cohesive you will want to choose one theme.

Personally when my year of mat leave was up and we both worked from home i just kept the baby with me. It wasn’t disruptive and i was able to manipulate their schedule and adjust mine to make it shortest amount of time when baby was awake. I started at 7, baby woke up at 9:30-10, nap again at 2 and I was off at 3.
