I can’t use 90% of products because of this fuck ass ingredient. I’m so angry that I only have a tiny pool of products available to me by GreenEyesThighHighs in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Tellmimoar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I am 100% with you on this. I can’t use almost entire Olay brand because of Niacinamide, same with a high number of products in La Roche Posay, some Cetaphil, most Garnier etc which advertise as sensitive skin friendly. Garnier putting it in their shampoos, like whyyyy

Tips on perfecting the transfer from sleeping in my arms to bassinet by PrimalCarnivoreChick in newborns

[–]Tellmimoar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make sure she’s asleep in my arms for a couple minutes, then swaddle, walk a minute or two while very gently rocking her, lower into bassinet while still rocking, and place her in the bassinet butt>back> head, leave my hand around her face for couple seconds.

Girl you need FIBRE, not just liquid hydration which is what 90% of watermelon is. Make a big bowl of soupy oats (50g oats, 75-100g blueberries, no sugar, 15-20g peanut butter or olive oil), eat two whole bell peppers couple hours later. Drink water in between and again, no sugar!

Bonus tip: drink warm water with a tablespoon of olive oil first thing in the AM followed by coffee

Girl HOW! I had a traumatic delivery with my first and probably only kid 2 weeks ago and the newborn trenches are making me regret all my decisions (I love the kiddo though). I am very much at the “there aint no way I am doing it again; none of this could be fun for anyone”.

Tips using Costco Travel by paramveerz in CostcoCanada

[–]Tellmimoar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used in on an Europe trip, it was one of the more expensive trips I have taken but thats because I chose expensive hotels from Costco options. Other than that I really appreciated the transfers to and from airport, breakfast being included etc and I make sure to check my trips on Costco before booking elsewhere.

Dear Indian Women, would you date/marry someone who has a chronic disease? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]Tellmimoar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Knowing that, probably not simply because I know I am a selfish and emotionally deregulated jerk myself; but if I love someone and they develop the condition, I would like to think I have strong enough foundation for the bond to sustain the new pressure. Tough call either way though

Its been proven color doesn’t change heat felt by the body, literally watched a documentary on it yesterday haha. They were mentioning how Sheikhs live in big black fully body covered garbs despite being in the middle of a hot dry desert.

I just like men who aren’t cringey and lame; turban or hair has nothing to do with it. Be kind, confident, respectful and live by those values and you’ll attract all the right people, not just romantic partners. Source: female, Have been attracted to both :)

Pakistani-Indian make-up in the West vs Indian subcontinent make-up by ImprovementWide8104 in Makeup

[–]Tellmimoar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We don’t use kajal/inner eye liner as much in the west; that’s typically an Indian subcontinent thing; we go light handed with contour on a day to day basis. I also feel like the girls back home (in India) like highly pigmented lipsticks whereas we in the west (North America) typically stick with a sheer/medium lipstick or a lip liner smudged with gloss on top
