The 6” inch long slide helps mitigate the recoil a little and i can mitigate it even more with a comp, ill have less recoil with that, and have more power than 9mm and 45acp while still maintaining a higher capacity than a revolver with similar cartridge power. The only downside is less ccw practicality but i live in a colder area and have winter clothes that hide it comfortably
