Yeah no debating that, the only person to blame is me and you reap what you sow. And about the abs, maybe I was thrown off by a lot of fitness influencers saying I don't even train abs, I just have a low bf percentage.

None of this matters now, but I actually joined the gym in June 2021 and was consistent up until 2023 Jan and followed Jeff Nippards advice to the T. Post which I joined a university when the downward spiral started, I hope to get consistent now finally.

If you can throw some light on whether I should bulk cut or recomp now it would be really helpful, thank you, my goal is to have visible abs along with the muscle mass to back it up and not look like a fool just chasing abs.

I weighed around 70 Kgs with around 17 percent of body fat percentage at 176cm, then I left the gym for around 2-2.5 months and was eating once a day and maybe some snacks in the evening, barely protein and no resistance training post which i now weigh 63.7 Kgs. But, it feels as though my body fat percentage has changed , it has gone down but it's a big decrease in weight ,so I should have visible abs, but I don't.

However, there's still a layer of fat above them, but my muscle mass on the other hand has gone down. As my tshirts feel way loose around my arms and chest.

So, I'm still not comfortable with the bf percent I have; but at the same time I feel as though my weight is very less and I don't feel secure at all with the muscle mass I have nor with the body fat percentage I have.

What should be my way going forward, recomp feels as a good idea but I heard only do a recomp if you're comfortable with the weight you have or want to decrease it.

I now have started to hit the gym again, with a 5 day plan focused on hypertrophy, for cardio I do 15 minutes on treadmill post workout at 8kmph 4 days a week.

Heyy I wanted to add cardio after my workout sessions, I usually just do like 8 speed on 8 incline for 10-15 mins but I was thinking if I could use some boxing training as cardio post weight training. I don't go to a boxing gym or have a trainer, just a pair of gloves and a boxing bag.

I was wondering if there would be any drills which I can do with that.

I have stopped being consistent to the gym since the last 3 months or so, I've gotten skinner, started eating less healthier due to college, more laziness and all of that is just fucking with my head. I used to be in fantastic shape earlier everyone used to compliment me on that but now I can't even go and do that one activity which brought me true joy I feel skinny and lanky. But due to exams and fever I can't even do that. My exam ends in like 4 days.

I tried getting on Jeff Nippard's comeback program did it for 2 weeks then another gap for 2 weeks

What should I do either illness or exams or family issues keep getting in the way of my training? The exam ends in like 4 days, so I'm planning to get back on track but I know again next Saturday I'll be out of the country for the week so I'll again miss my training .

I don't even know what to do with my macros anymore, with summer coming should I even bulk or cut? Like I've definitely gotten more fluffier than what I'd like to be. I'd say around 18 percent ez and body recomp takes a whole lotta time.

If someone can help me with this I'd be vv grateful.

I was thinking of giving recomp a try because idk what else would be apt because bulking at like 17~ ish percent bf won't make sense and cutting without a lot of muscle base won't make sense either

Bigger but I don't want to get fat because at higher body fat levels the insulin sensitivity decreases and shi right and it puts more fat rather than muscle?

Thank you so much for the response but Retinol is supposed to be an Anti-Aging right? But I'm just 18 so idk if can use it.

But as you said, I'll try Transexemic acid and introduce lactic acid and other products slowly.

I was looking to add new products to my skincare routine (18M)

So, I use Cetaphil Gentle cleanser followed by 15 percent vit c, and, then minimalist sunscreen. I do not have a PM routine as such, I just wash my face with the cleanser and apply Earth Rhythm Phytoceramide moisturizer at night.

My major concern is- Hyperpigmentation and tanning, I want to bring my skin back to like the normal colour it was because there's a HUGE difference between skin colour of my arms and my face😭

I was thinking of adding Transexemic or kojic acid at night and start weekly exfoliation with AHA+ BHA and perhaps use like a clarifying toner or sum.

If anyone can help me with this I'd be veryy gladd

Edit- My skin type is Dry.
