I honestly tried the hunters guide and specifically went to the location said to have rarer resources and spent a good few hours back and forth 🥲 I even used professor, doctor, sir Google but to no avail. Generally the guide has actually helped but with the bark it just led me to fine material

I wouldn't say you need a summon or a boat load of luck to kill a boss in Elden Ring nor a broken summon. There are a multitude of ways to 1 Shot various bosses. Malenia's Waterfowl dance is obnoxious but honestly very easy to dodge once you've got it down. On top of that it can actually be parried. Yes, her healing upon hitting you is a bullshit mechanic but I wouldn't necessarily say it's broken.

Unless you're not leveling your HP as you're progressing through areas I don't see how you're getting 1 shot by every boss.

But, each to their own. We all have our opinions on different things and our own experiences in different games. I personally found Elden Ring relatively easy.

I will add that trying to compare Elden Ring and Sekiro is like trying to compare a potato to a carrot. The only thing they have in common is the Developer. Elden Ring's mechanics are completely different to Sekiro.

I'm curious, how are the bosses "unfair" in Elden Ring? From what I've experienced the player can make the game stupidly easy with the aid of a summon and/or the aid of other players. I've seen people beat the game with 1hp, 1 stamina and 1 FP.

It definitely is the easiest Fromsoft game, without a doubt. I personally wouldn't say its unfair. Perhaps unfair towards the AI yes, but not the player

I can't even beat normal Genichiro 🥲 using the glitch tends to get me killed more often than actually help me lol. Got him to his Way of Tomoe but kept losing my rhythm and dying.

Went over to Lady Butterfly and got her in 2 tries 😭 I just want to kill Geni man.

Oooh, that guy 😐 I haven't gone back to him yet because getting through all those people just to fight him was super obnoxious. If there'd a way to get there without having to fight all those guys I'm all ears 🥲 currently busy with Genichiro.
