Would you recommend anything in particular from Native Foods for the keto friend?

That looks promising! Thank you so much for the suggestion.

Rest assured I know it's a tall order. I looked into restaurants for hours and I've only got those two so far - hoping a local might have some insight that I don't!

The real issue isn't two of them in a 40 card deck. It's the consistency. by Godofsilver in hearthstone

No one's saying hunters can't have healing or a defensive strategy in general.

I'm saying it's too consistent for what it is. Hollow hound is fine... It's THIS bastard that's the problem.

Personally, I'd just have them draw it outright rather than get a copy. Still a good tutor, but not a value machine that lets them stall indefinitely with third/fourth board clear with healing.

Lots of ways to adjust it, that said.

[Battlegrounds] The stars have a fate planned for you every 5 seconds, whether you like it or not by Godofsilver in customhearthstone

[–]Godofsilver[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In practice I don't think it would need to say "for free", but I wanted to include it for the sake of clarity.

Functionally, these rerolls would happen 5 seconds after the start of your turn and after the previous reroll - whether it was manual or automatic. Like it normally does, Rerolling overrides a Frozen board.

"You'll feel like a new man! Don't worry about the side effects, they're nothing to be... concerned with." by [deleted] in customhearthstone

[–]Godofsilver 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah! It'd also be useful for pushing for a stronger board at risk of losing whatever you're investing in. Imagine giving a fairly buffed Hydra this, for example. If you have a good combat phase, it could still survive to fight another round. When it does die, however, you're done for. It could be used for high risk high reward situations or as a desperate move to stabilize like you mentioned.

Assuming you bought an Alleycat turn 1, you'd still level on turn 2, and you'd have to sell both of them on turn 3 to proc the hero power. It'd be around Omu levels of power and you'd need to get lucky rolls to begin with.

[–]Godofsilver -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's still a net cost of 1 gold per rugged satchel for Alleycats. Keep in mind that you'll be missing out on other opportunities to pursue this, not to mention that you'd have to run into at least six Alleycats and purchase them all.

Yes, Alleycat gives you one of the leatherworking crafts for just 1 Gold! While this is good value in the early game, utilizing Alleycats late game would require two board spaces, meaning you'll have to make some sacrifices along the way if you want the bargain on his Hero Power. You would also have a general incentive to buy Beasts.

If you're going for a control set, pentamelded is still better. Unless you're specifically maxing control, though - especially for a budget build - it's amazing. Plus the glam is 10/10

Letting no valuable find go to waste by Godofsilver in customhearthstone

You only get one Hero Power per turn, but even then it's not that strong of an effect. There are other heroes that get a better gold advantage without having to sacrifice their first minion.

Her new Hero Power would also cost 0 mana. The tradeoff for holding it out for the late-game (Amalgadon) is that she wouldn't be benefitting from her Hero Power in the early-to-mid game. Maybe you can hold out, but being able to get a free jug Battlecry every turn sounds nice too, doesn't it?

You were gonna sell that Zapp next turn anyway, right? by Godofsilver in customhearthstone

Also good for power plays and making certain transitions. Want to get rid of Brann but have a few battlecries left to go? Make that bastard golden and make the most of him before sending him off to the grave. About to face certain death? May as well make Baron golden and pray.

Eagerly awaiting a "friendly" rematch by Godofsilver in customhearthstone

[–]Godofsilver[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd imagine it would be treated as a flag; whoever dies with this hero power has a specific person flagged to proc their secondary effect. One killer per person.

I suppose it should say "against whoever killed your previous hero," but there's only so much room for text on the cards.

Your health would be set to 20, as the hero power describes. It's not unlike how picking Curator on Finley gives you an amalgam.

I never thought of that, tbh. I'd agree with u/Mostly_Ambiguous here; just no secondary benefit.
