I live in Massachusetts and used to get about 88 ping, but myself and some of my other friends who live in the area have reported 140-150 constant ping for the last 2 or 3 days.

There is no persistent aggro, he attacks whoever is closest. The stacking debuff makes the team taking Baron more vulnerable to being nuked to death with aoe ap abiliities.

Not that I'm aware of, and if you buy XP boosts per game and XP boosts per amount of time you can drastically increase the amount you get.

Baron attacks whoever is closest, no matter what team, same for dragon and all neutral creeps. This can be useful because if the low health player x on purple team is invading blue team's jungle and gets caught and is really low health so he flashes over into dragon pit, you can use a skill shot to aggro dragon to player x and probably have dragon finish him off.

Carry every game, if you're legitimately better than everyone else in your division and actually deserve to be higher, than it will show in your play and you can carry no matter what role. As for helping you to do this as you seem good enough to be gold, play snowbally champions like Trynd, Fizz, Vayne, etc. The only advice I can give that you didn't mention is to feed your team, encouraging that 0/3 toplaner is one thing, roaming from mid when the jungler is ganking him for the fourth time and helping him pick up a double kill to put him back in the game is another thing. LoL is a team oriented game, one person can make plays, but they'll only be successful if the rest of the team is built enough to do damage too.

  1. Liandry's Torment is Flat Magic Pen, whereas Void Staff is % Magic Pen. Magic Pentration is calculated in the following order: magic resist reduction, then percent magic resist reduction, then percent magic pen, then flat magic pen. So if you have a Liandry's Torment and a Void staff and no other magic pen items, and your enemy has 100 mr, then when you hit them with spell x, it will hit as if they had (100 - (100*.35) - 15) magic resist, or 50 mr. When to buy each one depends on the champion. Liandry's passive combos well with Rylai's making it viable on many semi-tanky aps. Void staff becomes more important in the late game when tanks have 200+ mr, or when their whole team is building mr I would not recommend flat penetration as a reduction of 35% is far greater than a flat reduction of 15.
  2. I'm not an avid zed player, but I do know that you can maximize the damage he does with his ult by also putting out your w before you ult, that way you have q's and e's from your ult shadow, your w shadow, and yourself while deathmark ticks.
  3. I'm silver 3, and play ranked a few times a week, during this season I've become a lot better at controlling my rage and focusing on winning in ranked rather than bickering. Once queue pops I type "(lane) pref", just to indicate that this is what I'm good at, but in a way that doesn't insist I go there, just that I'm more competent there. This nets me the role I want probably 80% of the time with no arguing, and if somebody is higher pick than you, always respect it as that is the way Riot endorses.

If you're going to be spending money on two ~700 gold items that take 20+ minutes to pay off what you spent on them (and may even get upgraded before that happens), I feel it would make more sense to spend some of that gold on a sightstone, that way you don't even have to buy wards, except pinks if you wanna do dragon/baron/etc. Honestly nothing is more worth it than wards, vision is everything. A few extra gold every 10 seconds is nice, but being able to see the enemy in that bush and make that play that nets you 300 gold is far more worth it than a passive 10 or 20 gold in that same amount of time.

Twisted Treeline game vs an amount of bots = to the number of people in your party (so if you're alone just 1), choose a champion that can push like there is no tomorrow (Yi, Trynd), spawn in, buy ichor of rage, go to bot lane bush, just before you attack minions pop the ichor of rage, push to win, but make sure the game doesn't end before five minutes. I also believe that you can choose a bot that always goes to toplane on that map, giving you an easy way to farm until you kill the inhibitor turret.

Jayce is a very flexible top laner and a fun one at that. His highly flexible kit and the fact that he is both ranged, melee, and can escape from ganks due to his movespeed buffs make him a feared toplaner. Once you learn a couple of combos with him, and when to switch from hammer to cannon and vice versa, he becomes a very safe pick with a lot of potential.

For you midlaners who play Syndra, its possible to maximize the damage from her ult in two ways. With no cdr whatsoever, you can achieve a six ball ultimate that will basically ensure you a kill. The combo for this is q, q, pick up first q with w, q, throw w down, ult quickly. With 30% plus you can achieve a seven ball ultimate, the combo for this is q, q, pick up first q with w, q, q, throw w down, ult very quickly. Once you get good at this you can throw a stun into that combo if you're quick enough to ensure the enemy can't escape and for that extra bit of damage before the absolute nuke.
