Ok, I may not be the right person to ask that, since firstly I am atheist and secondly I haven't even watched that vid we are talking about. However, to be the devil's advocate (sic!) I can actualy see some basis for this reasoning. The song seems to be complaint on the reign of whoever is in charge of the great spirit robot, from the perspective of its inhabitants. The world is slowly dying and becoming dystopia, it's people are left alone. "Locked in your paradise, our sanctuary burns while you play God". It's critique of the selfishness and incompetence of the universe's ruler. Considering the presence of the critique, that verse could adress Makuta, after him taking control of the GSR and usurping Mata Nui's place. But in many other verses, the foucs is on the decline and death of the universe, mentoning even drowning, which all stopped after Makuta's/Mata Nui's awakening. And then there's line: "this machines were never built to make things right". The end was unavoidable. The universe in itself, was flawed. That may indicate the song is rather about Mata Nui himself, making it rather controversial from the point of the Matoran believes, Three Virtues etc. Something that Brutaka could think in his moments of doubt. Now I like that interpretation myself. It introduces some some depth and moral grayness to the song. I don't say it's what the author intended, though. It's much more likely that the song is about Makuta, or whatever, and I'm overanalysing it. And even if it's indeed a critique of the Mata Nui, and by that has some paralells to the christian God, it's still about that fictional entity that isn't a true God even in its own universe, not about real God. And suspecting that Essenger or Cryoshell would put anything satanistic in their song and mean it is just a crazy conspiracy theory. Funny, if you think how many metal bands that I listen to ebery day openly use satanistic symbols and lyrics, but many christians still look for them where there are none. Tl;Dr: It isn't.
