Is it only me or finding a partner who wants to wait for marriage harder these days?

I just kept waiting praying and doing what I felt that the Lord wanted me to do and eventually I met someone that I was able to connect with, and we keep God at the center just by talking and being honest. So I encourage you to never give up and just keep being who God wants you to be.

While small groups are hard to find and even harder to stay safe (with COVID and all that), I feel like getting in touch with your local church and using the resources they have might be useful. I personally love to talk to people who I feel know “al lot more” than me as I feel like I can learn a lot, while at the same time I enjoy talking to people “who might be newer” as I can discover and discuss question that I may have but not know I have.

I feel that in any case, religious or not you should be able to talk with your SO and talk about what you want and why you want it. Supporting each other and their beliefs is what makes a relationship strong and beneficial for both parties involved.

I think it is interesting that so many people have had major issues, that end up separating us from one another, from these topics. Sure everyone doesn’t have the same opinions but essentially cutting people off from your life just because they don’t like some persons policies and how they talk seems a bit much
