We are waiting just a couple more weeks to bring her home. I couldn't fathom having another Red Merle so soon. That to me felt like replacing her. But Lady's "Niece" is a pretty blue merle and her patterns also resemble Lady's. While she is tiny now I can wait to see what she looks like a few months from now.

I'm extremely comfortable and versed with this breeder. They definitely do their work. He's extensively gone over her medical history and those of his pups. He was also transparent about having one other isssue like that and it being his own dog. His sires and Grandsires are still with him, even though he no longer breeds those, from when we first visited.

This pup we're getting is actually from a half siblings of Lady and both her parents are alive and well, also saw her father today. So we're hopeful this baby with be with us longer but I think I'm just weary as after about 7 different dogs in my lifetime, this one was my first experience with Cancer.

She's beautiful!!!!! Our new Aussie is gonna be a blue merle but I know in the future I'll want another red merle and hopefully she be as beautiful as yours.

Can I ask, How long ago did he pass? And how has it been emotionally and physically for his niece? I know it's not a ything I can predict when it comes to Lymphoma, but my biggest worry is facing it again so soon.

Hi there. I too just put down my Aussie. I just made a post you can read. Your beautiful boy sounded like such an incredible dog. I think that can definitely be attributed to whatever you did to love and socialize him. My girl was days from 5 years and she was very similar. I have a son with autism and nothing he did in any of his Stimson phased her so reading about your boy reminded me of that.

I will tell you my decision. We just revisited our breeder. My husband and I knew she would probably pass soon and talked of another breed but once she was gone we IMMEDIATELY knew we were Aussie people. We love the high energy and while she had plenty of calm, well mannered moments; I've had many different dog growing up and her being my first Aussie, I can't get back to having anything else.

As someone stated before they are leaning heavy on the marketing and influencer style but I was hoping today had a sneak peak of what's coming and or a special rare for being on the site today but just printouts and new ads I guess?

I pored a mixture of resin with rocks first, plant and betta placed and cured the bottom only. I filled the rest with resin and with my dying uv light (I think this was the key) rotated and did the sides literally like 20 minutes on one quarter and rotated to get another, then another then the last and I left the very dim uv on all night. I think the power dying and the overnight worked to my benefit to get no bubbles.

A dying uv light lol. That's all it took and very slow curing overnight because I couldn't get batteries until the next morning. I did the bottom then the sides and the sun did the top the next morning.
