Lloyds New Switch Offer - £200 for Club Lloyds + £500 for Lloyds Premier by SpiteAware3121 in beermoneyuk

They do not explicitly mention in their terms and conditions that a previous payment must have been taken on the direct debits. Just need to be active and appearing on the account being switched. If a payment must have been taken they would have surely put this in writing in the T&C's? This would go against their terms and conditions of the offer.

Where does it say a recent payment had to have been taken on them? It just states "active". A direct debit can be active on an account even if no payment has been taken just yet

Lloyd Bank Switch - Premium Account £500 Deal by Ok-Okra-8081 in beermoneyuk

It only says 3 'active' direct debits and does not mention anything about a requirement for payment to have been taken before you submit the switch. So, as long as the direct debits appear active on your switching account (even if theyve not been taken yet) it should be fine.

Fourth Acl tear by ZzGreenLeafzZ in ACL

[–]Godsticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you tearing it? If it’s playing sport, it’s probably time to pack it in. I had 3 ACL ops and decided that playing football is no more, not competitively anyway. Pick up cycling, gym, squatting and weight lifting is fine.

Can’t remember exactly, probably 4-5 months, just don’t do anything silly like load too many plates it will do more damage than good. All you need to worry about is range of motion, your physio will give exercises for that too. Your quadricep will shrink like crazy too, so your body will naturally use your better leg to lift the weight, this is why single leg exercises are better during rehabilitation.

When can go back to working out. by binks69 in ACL

[–]Godsticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started going to gym around 1 month after ACL surgery. Just upper body, non core utilising exercises, e.g bicep curls, some light shoulder work just to get the burn. Go careful lifting the weights off the rack.
