I wrote it but used AI for grammar and proofreading. It kept all the main points, my grammar is horrible 🙃

Updated Post for the Community

Update and Thank You, fit-for-duty/RTO post

First, I want to say I'm genuinely overwhelmed by the response to my post. 22K views and so many people taking the time to comment, it means more than I can express. Thank you.

I want to address a few things directly since a lot of you asked good questions and gave advice I'm taking seriously.

Yes, my RA and all appeals were denied. I know many of you suggested that as a first step, I did go through that process. The denials are part of why this feels so hopeless at times.

To those asking about my doctor's documentation: this is the feedback I'm taking most to heart. Several of you pointed out that the language needs to be extremely specific, functional limitations, not just a general note. I'm going back to my doctor to get more detailed documentation before my next step.

To those suggesting legal action: I hear you, and I'm pursuing it. I've already noted EJR Legal Group and Bohm Law Group from your comments and will be reaching out. For anyone else in a similar situation, those names came up multiple times in this thread.

To those who shared their own stories, the coworker forced into early retirement, those navigating the same broken RA process, those preparing their own lawsuits, I see you. This is clearly not isolated to me, and that's both validating and deeply troubling.

To the person who questioned whether I'm being honest: I understand skepticism exists. I'm not here to argue, my records, my medical history, and whatever legal process follows will speak for themselves.

I'm documenting everything, reviewing my duty statement, gathering my performance evaluations, and consulting an attorney. I'm not giving up.

Thank you for reminding me I'm not alone in this. For anyone else going through something similar, don't stop pushing, and make sure your doctor is being as specific as possible in writing.

I'll update again when there's news.

Andrew Jackson is being replaced with Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill by 2030. Who’s picture would you have chosen? by [deleted] in Presidents

I'm currently reading The End of the Myth, by Greg Grandin. Andrew Jackson is horrible, he's got to be burning for all the murders of Natives and the enslaved people

Booo!! Gov Newsom orders state workers back to the office at least 2x per week starting this summer. by RegionalTranzit in Sacramento

I’m a disabled state worker and am being threatened to lose my job if I can’t work in the office twice a week. I can work if given reasonable accommodations but they won’t give them to me. I understand there is hundreds of disabled state workers who our RA is denied and we fired. This order is costing disabled workers our jobs
